Maya Delaney narrowly escaped a forest fire in her home town, making it onto a helicopter just in time, and she helped drug Rafe--he maybe boyfriend--so that he'd leave his missing skin-walker sister behind. But their pilot turned on her and her friends and the helicopter crashed.
