Johnanna Dunn is one of the pretties girl on campus, so when she goes through an accident that leaves her with bandages on her face and everlasting scars as a reminder, she begins to realize just how lucky she was to have had her beautiful face. Now she gets strange looks from people, even her closest friends. She begins to learn that a pretty face isn't everything but someone on campus thinks it is, they think she's ugly now, too ugly to live.
