Another Vol. 1 by Hiro Kiyohara and Yukito Ayatsuji

Another is the manga adaption of a novel by the same name written by Yuktio Ayatsuji. The managa was illustrated by Hiro Kiyohara. When young Koichi Sakakibara moves to Yomiyama and is placed in the hospital, he encounters a curious young woman. Upon returning to school at the local middle school for the first time, Koichi encounters the woman again and finds she is a student at the middle school named Mei Misaki. As Koichi gets to know Mei, he finds out that there may be more to Yomiyama Middle School than what anyone would like to admit.
