How I Became a Ghost by Tim Tingle

Choctaw storyteller Tim Tingle released 'How I Became a Ghost' as his first novel for children - which is also the first in a trilogy. "Maybe you have never read a book written by a ghost before. I'm a ghost." The main character Isaac details his experience as a Mississippi Choctaw travelling to Oklahoma on the Trail of Tears - something taught about in History, but not generally in detail.
