I get paid $5 an hour. File
But I also work unofficially for my parents so.... Guess I can't complain about it. My parents are taking pity on me because I can't find a real job, so the bare minimum they pay me for a few hours every night is better than nothing.

I work at a shady Chinese restaurant. My pay varies depending on the things I did at work for those two weeks - supervising the buffet, deliveries, waitressing, or working the fryer. My pay check usually comes out to about $125, which combined with tips is about $300. It's hardly anything, if you think about it.

I say shady, because a lot of the payment is under the table, all of the cooks and kitchen help are here illegally from Mexico, among other things that could get the place shut down if anyone else found out.

I'm working at Mossimo as a Xmas casual and I get $15.86 an hour plus casual loading. It's annoying being 18 and having your pay the same as someone who is 16 or 17. CAN'T WAIT TO BE NINETEEN SO I CAN GET MORE MONEY PLS AND THANKYOU

At my current gig, I get paid minimum wage (US $7.25), which is less than I got paid at my last job, but it's worth the lower income since I actually like it (compared to my last job, which I hated so much it was unhealthy.) It just goes to show that what is most important isn't the money it's whether or not you're happy (or at the very least not losing your mind.)

    Not enough?
I used to make $10 an hour plus tips (I was spoiled). Then went straight from that to $9 at a different job.

Which, in the long run is pretty good. It's just not so great when I get paid bi-weekly (so like two checks a month) and have the entirety of one of those checks go to the Feds for my student loans. :-\

I get paid $12.00 an hour at my current job, which is only weekends so it sucks getting paid for one or two days. But on the upside, this is the first job that I "technically" do not make minimum wage. Also, I get paid every Friday so I don't have to wait two weeks to get paid for one single day...

I don't get paid hourly, but weekly (as a nanny) and I get $300 a week, sometimes more if I have their older child or if I just do extra things.

My pay has risen quite a little bit in the past few years. I get £6.42 or something like that per hour as opposed to the £6.12 I used to get which, with the hours I work, amounts to about £430 per month (and yes, getting paid monthly sucks ass). They are trying to force me onto a 24 hour working contract though so if I can't find another job to work around my uni hours then I'll end up with probably about £650 per month. It's extra money but I wouldn't be happy with the drastic rise in hours.
