Can someone recc me some really good books by Dean Koontz? I've already read 'The Door to December' and am currently reading 'Watchers', but I'd like some more, please. :)

(I posted that in General Q&A before I realised we have a thread for this kind of thing right here.) XD

    My top three;

    False Memory
    Life Expectancy
    The Good Guy

There are others that I've really liked, but I've read so many of his books that I get the titles confused...

EDIT: The 'Odd Thomas' series was quite good...although I can only properly remember the second one so I might be wrong...

Does anyone know of anything that is similar to Wuthering Heights? Particularly set in the same time period. But I don't want anything by Jane Austen.

Personally, I think Jane Austen has a very boring writing style.

I have an obsession with the Great and Terrible Beauty series by Libba Bray.

    A Great and Terrible Beauty
    Rebel Angels
    The Sweet Far Thing

It is based in the Victorian age (London, England). It about a teenage girl, Gemma Doyle, who is sent to The Spence Academy for Young Ladies when her mother is mysteriously murdered. At the school it teaches everything a girl needs to know to become a proper wife.

The tags would be teen, fantasy, romance, and adventure. I highly recommend this series, Libba Bray is a very talented author. It can be found at your local book store in the young adult section.

    Hope I helped.

I know you said fiction, but Girl, Interrupted is so good, it's a memoir by Susanna Kaysen. I read it straight through in less then 2 hours some time around last month, it has officially become on of my favorite books. It's comical and not all completely about being serious, it's based mainly upon being in a mental hospital/psychiatric ward, but the main character has a personality disorder.

^It's not exactly controversial but there's a mystery series by Tamar Myers called the "Pennsylvania Dutch mysteries" which is based in an Amish town and there's murders and stuff...

I'm looking for a good fantasy book. One that can get my attention. I stopped reading a couple books because they got boring.

A Game of Thrones is good, I forget who its buy
As is Magician by Raymond E Feist (well actually anything up to Talon of the Silverhawk by him is worth the read)
And though it isn't stereotypical fantasy and has western elements, The Gunslinger by Stephen King is brilliant

The Angels Trilogy (it's a 3 books in one) it's amazing, it's about a normal girl who becomes very attached to the ways and life of the Amish.
