  • I'm a late bloomer. Besides local bands, the first real concert I went to was Journey, Heart, and Cheap Trick on August 31st, 2008 in Bethel, NY...where the Woodstock festival took place. Everyone there was either a hippie or older than 65. Punk I'm so hardcore.

I went with one of my good friends. She only went so I could go. I loved her for it :) We met up with some of her friends there and one of them had chicken pox. It was an interesting night. haha. he was in pain being in the mosh pit and all. I wonder how many people left the concert that night and woke up with chicekn pox a wk later? :P Best first concert experience ever!!

  • McFly, November 2008.

It was amazing, they flew on a stage to about ten foot away from us, and when they started talking we were shouting their names real loud, and Danny completely forgot what he was saying, and looked at us. Then they ran past us.

But they were pressed for time, so didn't really speak much.

    Great show though!

  • ^ Ooh, I saw them in November '08 too. :cute: It was brilliant.

I'm pretty sure I've posted this before, but my first concert was Avril Lavigne with the Jonas Brothers supporting. I'm so hardcore. :tehe: But it was awesome because I adored Avril when I was about twelve, and it kinda made my life to finally see her, and I was just getting into the JoBros back then. SO worth every penny.

    Green Day in 2000
    That had to be sweet.
I wanted them to take my concert virginity but they didn't start really hitting my city till after AI :XD
But they do hold the record for band I've seen the most times.

Technically my first concert was NSync in 98
then The Living End Dec 06
TLE was a dream come true, they're my second fave band and I had already missed them twice before. It was pure luck I got to see them in LA.

  • Hm. I can't remember if I've posted in here or not. :XD
Well, my first concert was Green Day and it was in 2005 I think. [I was a Freshman; I know that much.] It was amazing obviously because those men know how to put on a freakin' show. However, it was also significant because when I first started listening to Green Day [and they basically got me into rock music/ good music so yeah, a big deal] I always said they would be my first concert. This fact wasn't a certainty; it was actually pretty unlikely [when I discovered them they were on a break from touring and recording], but I just sort of kept the concept in my head. Then came the American Idiot album and tour, and they came to Nashville, TN, and it turned out that I was right all along and they ended up being my first in reality rather than just my dreams.
So yeah, Green Day owns. In Love

  • The first concert I ever went to was basically a local battle of the bands thing in my home town. The first real concert I went to was Green Day and Simple Plan at the start of 2005. I went to Green Day again at the end of that year. Most amazing show ever! Been to a few others in between but Green Day was always the standout. Can't wait to see them again at the end of the year!

  • My first concert was My Chemical Romance with the opening band Saves The Day back on December 14, 2007. I went with four other people that I knew, and it was an awesome concert, even though I got pulled out of the center and put off to the side. I think I looked like I was about to faint, so yeah. But I liked it better there; the people were more chill than in the mosh pits. XD

  • My first show was Siouxsie and the Banshees when I was...ten or eleven. I forget exactly when it was. I went with both of my parents, my sister, and their mutual friend/my old nanny, Olivia, who got us the tickets. I worse something ridiculous, but I can't remember what it was exactly, but I know my shirt had flames on it. I do remember my sister, two years older than me, wore a cape. lmfao

Since my sister and I were young and cute, we got to thefront easily. It was completely amazing.Siouxsie gave us her water bottle, the setlist, and the drumstics that the current drummer was using. (I can't remember his name.Shifty)

But yeah, the only concert I've been to that's trumped that was the three Tegan and Sara concerts I've been to.

  • My first concert was The Honda Civic Tour in '08. Went with a friend, had loads of fun. XD

Panic(!) at the Disco was headlining that year, back when it was still Jon and Spencer and Brendon and Ryan. One of my absolute favorite bands who has since gone on hiatus was there, The Hush Sound, with all the original members too. There was also Phantom Planet and Motion City Soundtrack, I think.

Yeah, but it was a great time. And I fell down a lot. XD
