What was the first concert you ever went to?

My Chemical Romance, May of 2007. I definitely see a trend. :XD

My first one was the Wiggles. Ha. But that doesn't really count does it considering I was like 4? So then it would be Kelly Clarkson when I was 11. Looking back at it, it seemed cool at the time. But now not so much.

I"m sooooo friggin JEALOUS!!!! I have NEVER been to a concert, unless you count this Jazz thing, or talent shows.... ha, yeah right! Ugh. But I want to go to one sooooo bad! [parents dont think its important, and i haven't got the money] Hopefully, though, I'll figure out how to go to Warped Tour, or at least to Jack's Mannequin!

Technically, my first concert was The Monkees when I was 5.

But preferably my first experience was Green Day in August of 2007. And a great experience it was; I got to meet them.

Birmingham National Exhibition Centre.

Cause I was 11 and this was before the emo/goth/scene kid boom happened, i'd never really seen many people that dressed like me other than my mum and dads friends who were all bikers. So I remember getting out of the car and being absolutely terrified cause there was hundreds of hardcore goths. I said to my mum 'MUM THEIR ALL FREAKY!'.
She nearly killed me xD
And cause I was only 11, I was trying to sing along to all the songs without swearing. It was difficult :file:

Technically my first concert was Tim McGraw when I was seven years old, but I didn't even stay for the whole concert 'cause I was sick. And I fell asleep in the middle of it. :|

So my first real concert experience was Envy On the Coast, June and 30 Seconds to Mars. There was another band before Envy, but when my friend and I arrived, they had already finished their set. Didn't really care. But I'm quite proud to say that Envy On the Coast was the first band I ever saw. They were quite amazing. And so was 30 stm. I got a poster signed and a hug from Jared Leto. He's extremely gorgeous in person. :weird And, despite what other people say about him, he was very sweet. :con:

First concert I ever went to was Britney Spears I believe. This was way back when during her first or second tour for her first or second record, Cannot remember. But I am into other music now but I still have a spot on my ipod for her.

The first "concert" I went to was a local punk show.
The first actual concert I went to was headlined by Mindless Self Indulgence (even though I went to see the Birthday Massacre). :) Great experience.
