Hair Dye

  • I've dyed my hair a lot.
I have natural black hair But I went to a very weird unnatural brown. from there I've done red ever since. I love reds. Recently I've bleached it and it came out a kind of blonde/orange color. I like it.

  • I like the way hair dye looks, but I don't use it because I'm very hesitant to dye my naturally brown-black hair, because I'd have to use bleach in order for anything to show up, plus outfits tend to be super-matchy, and having hair in some neon colour (I don't care for hair dyed into other natural colours) would throw that off and frustrate me.

  • My hair has never been dyed before and I'm kind of glad about that. I don't have to worry about re-dying it or roots or chemicals or anything like that. Not to mention the money it saves.
I kind of want it to be more blonde like how it used to be, but I really don't want to dye it. I mean, the color I have now is so unique and I love it.
Right now I have dark dirty-blonde hair that could also be called light brown with natural blonde highlights (from salt water & the sun.) And I really like saying it's natural.
It'd be nice to change it up, but I love my hair the way it is.

  • This is the first time I haven't dyed my hair in years.

I forgot what shade of brown it was. tehe

  • I've been dying my hair auburn for a while now, and I'll probably end up dying it way too much in the future. There's so many fun colors to try and so few dyes to get it that color...I may just break down and bleach it one day. If I feel brave enough...

  • I've had my hair just about every color of Manic Panic out there. I love dying/coloring my, I'm kinda obsessed. My hair's currently blonde with these little, random black patches on the sides. There's pretty much nothing I haven't done to my hair.

  • I have use hair dye,

Growing up I always loved Camden - The Punks and the strange people that your parents were cross the road from.

They were cool! So different and they seemed not to care what people thought so I thought I'd try it...... Planning for ages to go Bright Pink then slept round at my cuzins house one weekend and ended up dying my hair Red. It look amazing! I had a lot of hair that the red just flowed through..... After a while it started to go giner in the sun so I cut it, before I went spain a few week ago my hair had two different shades of red and purple in it. looked so Lush

  • My original color is light brown, kind of blondish, I started using dye when I was like, 14. I've had my hair black, blonde, pink, purple, red, orange and now average ginger, natural looking. I think it's fun to change your hair color, but sometimes when you walk into, say, a bus, and people see your with pink hair, they tend to start whispering and looking at you like you're not from this planet, though it's just hair :(

  • My natural hair color is black.
I dyed it brown twice, and then red, and then recently I dyed the top black.
I first dyed my hair in 8th grade.

  • I'm a seventeen year chick in modern day America who has never once used hair dye.
    I'm a rebel. XD

  • I've died my hair about ten times since the sixth grade. I'm a sophomore in high school.

Right now, I have a blue tint in my bangs, (thanks to an all-nighter, coffee, and a bottle of blue hair dye I had left over from a bet that I won) with the underneath of my hair dyed dark brown, and the top half bleached even blonder than my natural dirty blonde.

  • My hair is a very boring mousy brown/dirty blonde color. Its on the brink of either, so it generally would look kind of dull.

I first started highlighting my hair when I was in seventh grade, and have been outright dying it since my sophomore year in high school. When I highlighted it, I did a light ash blonde, and I've been dying it a mix of auburn and copper red up to this day.

I honestly love dying it - I don't feel like its a hassle at all to redye it (as so to retouch roots and because red fades lighter quickly.) Redying it just seems like a regular thing now. I also feel as if the red is my like, true color, as cheesy as it sounds. :P I get numerous compliments from complete strangers about it, and it makes it worth it. :] I actually tried a dark brunette a couple months ago, and people were reluctant to tell me they definitely didn't like it as much, haha.

  • I like dying my hair, I've closer to my normal color for a bit cause of my mom, but when I go down to my sisters I'm getting blonde done underneath but I'm thinking about keeping the brown on top for now to see what it looks like. I know my mom will call me stupid, but she was up for me becoming fully blonde the first time, so why not again Cute

  • I just got purple highlights. Unfortunately, my hair is so dark that even when bleached the color doesn't stick well. It's quite awful I tell you. So my purple hair has some orange sticking out here & there. I have more of a Halloween head as some would say. XD

  • I pretty much have to dye my hair every four weeks to keep up with root regrowth. I'm naturall dark blonde, but I'm currently near to white. :')
Also, every couple of months or so, I put a colour in my fringe (so far that includes blue, 'tropical green', and red). As well as dying my hair so it look almost exactly like Hayley Williams' last year. :')
I also dye it brown once or twice a year because I'm 'bored' of blonde, then regret it and go back.
Basically, I abuse hair dye to no end.

  • the past two months I've been rocking bright cherry-red hair. high maintenance, but I love it.
I think I'm going to make it my new signature, the way my hair flower was my signature last year.
    :)

  • I'm having my hair dyed at a hairdressers this week for the first time! (usaully just a home dye person) but I just wondered what will probably be done to get this colour. I've got a medium brown colour going on at the moment and so I wasn't sure if I'm in for a day of bleaching and stripping etc. XD Thanks if anyone can help.

  • ^ most likely yes, there will probably be bleaching, but because it sounds like your current color isn't significantly darker than the desired color, it'll probably be a low 10- or 20-volume. however, she may user a high volume bleach to get the correct reddish tone (or at least it looks reddish in the picture?).

and fyi, if they do end up bleaching it, I highly recommend this product and this one. I bleach and color my hair regularly, on top of the fact that it's chemically relaxed and I flatiron it daily, and using these products once a week makes my hair look and feel as if it's never even seen a chemical. :)

  • I'm naturally dark brown. I had my hair black for a very long time, about six years or more. Sometimes I did have colors in it, but never a full head of bright color. That was until Feb this year, where I dyed it all bright red and then recently went turquoise. Next I'm going either yellow, apple green or white blonde. I love hair dye tehe

Also the oddest thing of all is that bleach does not damage my hair. Instead it makes it soft and easier to manage. Even my hairdresser finds it odd that it doesn't make it the slightest bit dried out or anything and I've had it fully bleached about six times now.
