I've been watching the Chelsea Smile video alott latelyyy.
I think maybe I'll just download the remix album!

I'm interested to hear Travis McCoy's remix, just because I'm a fan of him.
But mostly I don't think this genre of music is really made to be remixed.

Matt Kean was on one of our radio stations the other day, but the DJ introduced him as Nicholls. They talked about Cut Up and the new album, and Kean said to expect it out roughly June or July next year and that they'd be producing in Slau again. For Cut Up, he said the main type of reason they produced a remix album was because they didn't want to just re-release their album with maybe one extra song or video, however the techno cd does include some extra footage on it as well.
So, yeah, just thought you guys would want to hear that.

I think a lot of it, was, overmixed?
And I found it was getting to parts and I expected it to be mixed one way, then it was the opposite direction.

Yeah, I found that happened a fair bit, too. I haven't listened to it fully but I've found that the majority of the songs are, like you said, odd. The only one I've really kind of liked was Football Season is over (After the Night) because it had that really night club feel to it, and you kind of want to just instantly get up and dance like a maniac.
Well, I did at least.

Went to see them in Leeds last night, and had a fucking great time.

The supporting acts, A Day To Remember and Dividing the Line were incredible, really got the crowd going.

The pit was great fun too, I've never moshed so hard in my life. Got a few hits, but nothing damaging. But the best part; I got one of Matt Nichols' drumsticks.

I've seen them twice now, and I'm just anticipating their next tour so I can go back and do it all again (:

Even though they played on May 16th this year, it's a night I can't forget.

Their new cut up album is a little edgy for me. I like a select few songs.

I wish we had something like Warped here! It'd be awesome to see them other than when they release a new album. We've only got Soundwave and I don't think they've been on the bill any year, fingers crossed for the year after next's! (Next year's bill has all ready been released and it's in February so I doubt they'll be playing. )

They were on the Taste of Chaos, and I was blessed to see them, along with Pierce the Veil, but that's a different story.
