I completely agree! I worked as a deckhand/costumer/prop manager's bitch for "Romeo & Juliet" and the actors treated me like I was nothing. It didn't matter that I was involved in most of the scene changes, costume changes, and had most of the props because the prop manager was too busy flirting with every guy on the cast and crew! I was still nothing in their eyes!
- heavyheavy:
- Techies/set crew/sound crew. Whenever I'm in a production, they're treated like shit by a lot of the actors, as if they're less than the people who actually perform. But they are often some of the most important people in a show. .___.
ohmygosh yes.
- die Bienen Knie:
- Oliver and Company.
I know about these two Not a whole lot about them, but some. But I agree, definitely very underrated.
- Kill Your Idols:
- The New York Dolls. I've never met one person that knows who they are. Not even my parents.
Rudy Sarzo. He's been with Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne, and Dio. But, I've never ever (not even online) come across someone who knows who he is. I've met him in person. He's a f*cking sweetie. And his broken English is adorable
Agreed so hard on Bob Dylan. I absolutely fucking love Bob Dylan; nothing puts a smile on my face as quickly as the song All I Want to Do. And one thing I love about Dylan is that his voice isn't great (though I honestly do love his voice), yet his music is still phenomenal -- his multi-instrumentalim, his sublime lyrics, and the soul, passion, intelligence, and humor he puts in to his lyrics. I think he's absolutely not appreciate enough, especially now, and I'm always so shocked by how many people my age have no idea who he is (like wtf?!).
- Kill Your Idols:
- I agree with Bob Dylan. Even when he was well-known in his prime, he still got a lot of insults because of his voice. Not many people can look past his voice enough to realize his talents as a songwriter (and the fact that he can play harmonica and guitar at the same time...).
