I stalk the Things You Hate to See In Stories thread so much. I just love seeing people's opinions. Anytime there's a hardcore debate I read through it just to see opinions as well.

I stalk Andy and Bella's debate posts. I love to read their debates.

When I read a story, I always read the comments it's gotten first. I like knowing what I'm getting into beyond the summary.

There's a shitload of times when I go into threads that probably require you to put in your own opinion, and halfway through typing out my post, I go, "You know what? Fuck it, somebody's probably already said this before." Deletedeletedeletedelete.

I don't know if I honestly believe myself or that I'm just lazy.

Sometimes I'll see a writing contest that sounds interesting so I'll pop into the thread and read the entries.

It's usually when I don't have the time to write something myself but am interested enough to read what other people have come up with.

I've already read so many stupid stories (being mistaken by interesting and relatively well-written summaries) that made me think "ow man, I can't believe I'm counting as your reader and giving you undeserved popularity..."

So now, when in doubt about a story, I'd normally read the 2nd chapter, and just go back to read the first if I really like what I saw.

^ I wouldn't call that bitchy at all. More like saving your eyes from any further damage. When I get around to actually reading stories on here I do the saving thing.

I didn't know Mibba had ads for over a year after I joined because of the ad blocker on my internet. It wasn't until I used a friend's computer in late 2007 that I realized it.

poststalking seems a lot more secretive now that there is no button for it
