Well, since there's so much Waycest bashing on here, I've got to say, I think Waycest, while a BIT wierd, is fun. But Weasleycest is awkward. I saw a Fred/George slash story on here and I'm just gonna say that it was way worse then Waycest.
I can't say I like incest, but I'm not averse to reading it if it's done well. Waycest especially, because it's somehow not that hard to believe it could happen. And Wincest, actually, but 'cause it's kind of the primary ship of the SPN fandom it isn't hard to find good fic, but hey.

I've read Weasleycest before too, but it was Ron/Fred/George. It wasn't actually that bad. tehe I think it seriously depends on how the author handles it, because an incestuous relationship can't be treated just like any other, but it can be pulled off. I don't think it's inherently weird, though, I think we're just conditioned as a society to think that it is.

Well, as far as Waycest goes, I think that it also depends on if that person has written other MCR fics because they may have developed their characters in a way that Waycest works. So sometimes you have to do a background check with bandfiction and incest, because you don't have an actual character developed to deal with. But if they're just coming out and writing Gee and Mikey randomly like nothing's wrong and they make it totally awkward, boo on them.

As for weasleycest, I'm all for it if the author can write it well, but most don't so it becomes wierd and a poorly told story. It's one of those things that you can't jump into but instead develope a bit of character and a story line. But I think that goes for most stories too. Like, there was this one Harry Potter fanfic where Harry was a pathetic little creature who cried at everything and Ginny was his savior. I didn't like it at all because it was completely random and thrown out there without it being progressive.

But that's just my opinion. Shifty

I just find the idea of incest fiction that deals with real people a bit odd. Original incest fiction is cool and I find it interesting to read (when handled well) but when it involves real people all I can think of is what they'd think of it.

^^^But people like the Ways know that there will be bandfiction about them and they have the option of saying "We don't want it" so they shouldn't handle it that badly. I forget who but there is one author who exempt Fanfics about her stories.

^Anne Rice doesn't want people to write fan fiction about her stories.

I find the ads weird, still. I keep getting all kinds of ads about random dating sites and weight loss. Mibba knows I'm a lonely fatass. XD

I think it's because of the small population of guys on here, so it's a huge WTF when we get new male members xD (As seen above File)

After a slew of non-exciting ads for national for-profit colleges, I just got an ad for the local public community college I went to for a year.

    Too far, Mibba. Too. Far.

And there was this one point when the president of the college came into one of my classes to use us as a focus group and ask how/where they could advertise to reach potential students. I mean I know this is just Google being creepy and knowing where I live and everything, but DAMMIT DR. RYAN, you are intruding on my happy place. D:

Not as much weird as it is annoying, but when people fake these internet famous scene queens and use super old pictures for them. Then when you cal them out for it, they freak out on you and cuss you out. I'm like, you're this 13 year old wanna be (no offense to any one who is 13 Shifty) trying to curse me out for telling you that I know you are a fake.

Or the others that claim they actually know the people and they allow them to use their pictures. All the ones I've seen used are normally like, 5 years old or something. If they were really the people they were faking, I highly doubt they would use those pictures. Most of those 'scene queens' aren't even like that anymore and say it was embarrassing.

    Just... some people... Facepalm

In the Story Review thread, people leaving little messages like 'please post the review in the story comments area of the story' in the thread after they post the comment for the above person and leave their story and other little tid bits of information.

I just find that a little too weird....like, where else do you think the reviews going? The whole point of the thread is to get a review in your story comments. It's just pretty darn odd actually.

^ It's because you're also supposed to edit your post and add your comment, and sometimes people only do that and forget to actually comment on the story's comment area.
