Odd Hobbies

Weaver:

I want to know what vegetables, aside from tomatoes, can be grown without soil.

Corn can, I did it in my science class. Just don't watter it too much because it'll mold easilly.

I like to lie down in the middle of pedestrian crossings, and see if I can get hit?
Is that weird?

I keep a running list of every book I've ever read since the sixth grade.
I collect dead pens and nice candy wrappers.
I collect resentments, it's not something I can help.
I look around on buses and imitate the ways people sit.
I choreograph instantaneous dances inside my head as I listen to music.

I do the choreographing thing too, it makes me feel crazy.

I zombify stuffed animals. Like, I take normal stuffed animals and make them look like zombies. XD I have put together a website for them and they have personalities and backstories, etc.

Oh my gosh, I do too! Math nerds for-eva! <3 Hahaha.

Also, I knit, which a lot of people think is weird, but I'm pretty proud of it. And, I press flowers and use them to make birthday cards and stuff.

Probably the most odd of all of my hobbies would be with my dinosaurs. So, for my birthday last year, my mom got me these action figures of dinosaurs and a couple shark ones. When I get bored, I make them battle, which is either me throwing them across the room to see who goes farthest, or me throwing them up in the air and seeing who looks like they landed the softest. xD

I have a habit of making collections.
I have a coin collection that features old American coins, and a lot of English, Irish coins, francs ect.
I collect grade B horror, and science fiction films, and I collect vinyl records.
I dumpster dive for old books, I have found Hamlet, Grapes Of Wrath, Lord Of The Flies, Animal Farm, Leaves Of Grass, two copies of The Great Gatsby, and several old Stephen King books! It's amazing.
Oh, and I collect action figures xD

I like to run down the street singing hippy songs. It's...liberating.

I love to collect quotes. I have normal hobbies like writing, reading, listening to music, etc but I have to say that my odd hobby is coming up with strange analogies in my mind and applying them to daily life in my conversations. A lot of people think I'm really weird because of some of the things I say, but I really love to give elaborate descriptions about weird things :)

I dont know whether this would count for being odd but i'm just obsessed with mangas. At first it was a normal hobby like reading a book but then i'd end up staying up till like 2 or 3 in the morning reading a manga, and it doesn't even end like that, i find it so hard to not read at least 'one' manga each week and when i've got homework/coursework , i simply reassure myself saying that after i read this chapter i'll get back to work-but then i end up reading the whole volume.

I like to crochet. =)
I like to shop/window shop at Goodwill for some good books. lol
And my favorite hobby so far: I like to create gum wrapper art. You know how 5 gum has those colorful gum wrappers? Yeah, I create art work with that.
I've been doing this for years. For as long as I can remember. Beginning with those plain silver gum wrappers.

I sometimes like to read science or English textbooks for fun.

Some of these hobbies you've probably seen xD

Whenever I'm doing something - be it walking down the street, sitting in the bathtub, taking a shower, eating, laying in bed - I pretend I'm in a story or movie and make a little scene. Like, in the bath, it'll probably be a sex scene If I'm laying in bed, there's some random lover trying to get forgiveness or we're cuddling. Eating, I'm probably pretending I'm some bad-ass, beautiful chick and there's this adorable nerd/guy/person in general who's smitten over me and is watching. Ha ha.

I also like to make up stories about people. When I see someone in a suit walk by, they're a spy. When a bimbo walks by, she's a criminal. Oh - when a kid walks by alone (rare) they're an orphaned immortal witch/wizard. Oh, so weird.

Conversations. I will hold a real, serious conversation with anything and everything, ranging from water and leaves to animals and bugs. I'm not even kidding, they give me advice sometimes.

I love to collect paintballs. Ever played paintball gun? Where you have little balls filled with paint and - you get the point. I collected them like crazy, and put this in this old paintball-holder thing (I had five at one point, they hold a lot) and after convincing my mother, I threw all the paintballs as hard as possible at my wall. Looked. Awesome. XD Would still collect if my parents still played paintball, but they don't.

It's not a hobby - yet - but, I research those "___ Ways To Get Kicked Out Of Wal-Mart/Target/A Meeting/Etc" and I mentally store those away for future use

I hug my cat. It's a hobby. I do it fifty times daily, and she hates it but she ends up purring after a few minutes, so it's all good, right? ...right?

EATING TWANG. It's sour salt. I love it. So much. If I had a lifetime supply, I'd be set.

ANNNND finally, wearing band aids xD I get those Spongebob, Dora, etc themed ones and purposely let my cat hurt me all over and just in general get hurt so I can wear them. Ha ha. That's normal, tight? I also keep the boxes they come in~

I like to build replica video game/anime gear, armor and stuff. For no apparent reason other than I love to build things.
Well, that and I'm a graphic designer, so I love the creative freedom.

I made both Pyramid Head from Silent Hill 2 and The Butcher from Silent Hill Origins for Halloween of 2010.

Further down the line, I plan on making a scale model full-body suit of the Big Daddy from the first BioShock. And then hopefully, make the rare Veteran NCR Armour from Fallout: New Vegas. This is the armor and face mask seen on the cover of the game. :D

I bake. It started out as a cure for boredom but now whether I'm bored or not I bake cookies or pies.

Sitting in trees and world stalking has become my new hobby. Collect rocks from creeks was one I had as a child but I doubt that's odd.
