Most of my stuff is in third person. I've only written in first (Katie's POV) for What NOT to do... and Product of a Dysfunctional Family. It's easier to show emotions for everyone.

I'm answering this as pertained to my original romance, My Calamity.

I switch between the two main characters POV's every chapter. I think my readers can tell who I favor more to write. When I write Patrick's chapters, they always seem to hold the drama scenes, and I think I made the characters love Patrick as much as I do through his chapters, where as the other main character Penelope, I've hardly tried to make them like her. I love both characters, for I favor Patrick because I just love the way I built him, so his chapters are always longer, and they hold a lot more emotion then Penelope's do.

I prefer third person, honestly, because I like the freedom to switch between character's thoughts. And honestly, I narrate thoughts just as much as more as I narrate dialouge, so it's what works best for me. tehe

I'm a third person writer, as I tend to switch between characters' thoughts from sentence to sentence. One day, I'd like to write a story in first person, but I'd definitely have to switch between POVs.

    Mainly first for me.
I tend to, occasionally, write from two people's perspective points, so you get two sides of the story, what they are going through, etc. But it all depends on the plot of the story, & if I want there to be more told from anothers point of view.

Usually though, I try to stick to one person, to make it less confusing for those that later read it.

[Although I will admit, there was one story where I had it switching points of views between four people, only because all four people were involved, a lot, & to get what they were going through, seeing, viewing, dealing with, it had to be done that way.]

Either first or third person. I don't have a particular preference out of those two.

Hmm... even with fanfic, I prefer writing first person for OC's. I dunno, I guess I just prefer it because I feel like I woudn't do my favorite characters justice. It's bad enough writing them from another character's view, but writing it from their POV, it would just be madening.

    Third person limited.

Even right now, when I'm telling the story of two characters, they are separate so I still consider it limited.

I usually write my stories in first person so I can put myself in the stories and help me keep writing. A few times I have done third person but very rarely.

I write in 1st person. Its easier than 3rd most of the time because you almost use yourself as a character.

I write mostly in third person, but there are some moments where I'll choose to write a story in first person if it really helps pull the story together, like in Carpathia which basically screamed "first person."

Once and only once did I write in second person XD It wasn't SO bad.

Always first, I like knowing what's going on in people's heads.

I usually write in third, but I've recently taken a liking to first person. It's a lot more fun, and I like that I can better express what my character is thinking.

I write in first person all the time. Or at least 99% of the time I do. I've only written a couple in 3rd person but I'm really liking it. Especially for murder stories. It's wonderful

I've always written in 1st person, too, but for NaNo I'm doing 3rd person, and I've gotta say, I'm falling in love with it. It works perfectly for this story, since I need most of the characters' insights, and it's fascinating to see how they regard each other, imo. I'm also really enjoying being the sarcastic narrator and making snide remarks about the characters. XD I don't think I could write it for a romance, though, I feel like it would come off as cheesy.

I always tend to write in first person, because I feel like I can personally connect to the character on that level, which makes it easier for me to write about them. I also feel like, in a reader's perspective, they can also connect to the character if it's written in first person and not in third. Third sometimes comes off to me as being cold, like the emotion isn't really being felt. There are a few stories where third person is done brilliantly, but I don't think third person can be done well by all.

I generally write fanfictions in third person, especially if I'm not using an OC. Also, depending on the fandom, I especially like to write about minor characters because of the great degree of freedom. For example I plan on writing a Ted Tonks/Andromeda Black fanfiction and a Ruby/Dr. Whale fanfiction. Minor characters are my true loves.

I either do third person or first person from the prospective of my OC. Lately it's been more first person though.
