Multi-Author Collections

As opposed to the 50 author oneshot stories.

I think it would be nice if one person could create a "collection" and then they could just add the oneshots the other authors' write (based on mutual consent).

So, I could start a collection called "The Clinic" and everyone would have to write a story that takes place at this hospital. And then I would get a PM/comment from the person and add the story and then they'd get a notification and "OK" it.

Then the story would be a oneshot on the person's profile and uptop (where it shows sequel/prequel) it could show "is a part of ______ collection" and then someone could click it and see the full collection.

Obviously there would need to be standards in place. As opposed to "A list of all the stories on Mibba that I love".

I think that this is actually a pretty good idea.

Like you said there would need to be standards, but I think that is a really nice idea. Some users really seem to like becoming a part of those big one-shot stories.

Being a part of one, I can say that the most annoying thing about the entire thing is recieving the notifications for comments for the entire thing. I think if you only recieved notifications when you're contribution was added it would a little less annoying.

I agree. And it would also be nice if just your part of the story appeared on your profile as opposed to the entire 500 chaptered story.
