it don't work. I've been using that cream since the beginning of year eight, two years ago. I'm coming to the end of year nine, and nothing happened. So I'm now trying an Avon solution stretch mark cream. Hopefully, it'll work.

Yeah, I've always hurt cocoa butter is good for preventing stretch marks (which is why pregnant people lather it on) but it won't do anything for preexisting stretch marks, like most remedies.

I have stretch marks on my stomach and my hips...it's like a really short chick scratched me, lol
think i'll try aloe oil or bio oil...it'd be nice to be able to wear a bikini w/out feeling epically self-conscious.

I've heard Vitamin E oil works and it did fade the really dark marks on my body.

I have stretch marks on my boobs, inner thighs, and around my hips.

But hey: REDHEADS! My mom's plastic surgeon told me that redheads have super thin skin because it was designed to absorb heat since the originals lived in colder climates or whatever, and so we're more prone to have stretch marks because the tissue is so sensitive.

All the stretch mark oils/creams seem to be for pregnancy.
Do you think it makes any difference if I'm using them for just normal, non-pregnant stretchmarks, or should I just stick to cocoa butter or vitamin E oil?

^I don't think it makes a difference at all.

I know when I first started rowing, and my calve muscles exploded, I was using this weird pregnancy cream stuff on my calves, and it worked really well, I didn't get any stretchmarks and the ones that were starting faded.

No, I think stretch marks are just stretch marks. It's probably just a marketing thing, because most pregnant women get a lot of stretch marks in a short amount of time, so they probably just want to market their product to people who they think will buy it the most.

I have gotten some on my stomach. And I've never had a kid.
They're more of a white-ish color now. But I still hate them.
Any way to get rid of them?

I have them on the top of my legs, and beginning to get them on my calves. I haven't grown in stature, so they must have appeared because I've gained a lot of weight, which is annoying.

The stupid thing is, my grandmother and mum don't have any stretch marks at all, not even from pregnancy, so it's annoying that I have got them.

I have them all over my boobs. Basically I grew a cup size a year starting from when I was ten. Later on in late middle/early high school I slowed down and now I've (hopefully) stopped growing. I'm a 34 DD. :/ Even though I work out, (bench press and serious weight lifting) they still haven't shrank, so I'm assuming they're supposed to be like that... Oh well. xD

Ugh, I have really dark ones the way down my legs, including on my calves, which is quite strange because I've never dropped a lot of weight really fast and was a very steady grower.

Someone told me it's because I pick up kids all the time. Myth? No idea.

I have really large purple ones on my stomach that I'm really self-concious of, and pale silvery ones on my lower back and boobs. I hated the ones on my stomach so much I'd cut over top of them. It's got to the point where I'm so ashamed of what my stomach looks like because of my stretchmarks and scars that I'm afraid of anyone seeing me shirtless... =/

I weighed about...140 when i got pregnant the first time, and I was in shape. If you're smaller you'll be more likely to get them than not because you have a baby inside of you. And nearing the last trimester that baby will be atleast 6-8 pounds ( maybe more). So yeah, you'll probably get them.

I have some stretch marks on the backs of my knees because I had a growth spurt when I was like, 11 and went from under five feet to 5'4 in the period of about three months. They're super faded and white now, and the only time they're really noticeable is when I don't exfoliate and put on lotion for a few days. If I can ever afford it, I'd like to get laser to remove them, but 99% of the time they don't bother me.

In the time being, pure cold-pressed castor oil and vitamin E oil help their appearance pretty drastically. You can get both items at most health food or vitamin stores, especially Vitamin Cottage, for quite cheap. You can also buy a bottle of vitamin E capsules at Walgreens, break them open in a bowl, mix them with a little bit of olive oil, and massage that in to stretch marks as well. Also, for me, tanning temporarily hides them pretty well, so I use Jergen's every other day.

On my thighs, it's stretch mark galore. But they don't bother me too much because most of them are light. But I let myself get fatter in the midsection after 9th grade and now I have some on the sides of my stomach. They're ugly as fuck and I hate them because they're dark. When they're light, it's okay, when they're dark, not okay. I'm black by the way, I think that's kind of important in explaining their color.

I've also noticed that the ones I got from getting fat are dark, and the ones from growing through puberty are light. Just like the ones I had (they went away due to muscle skrinkage) on my calves when I was running track in eighth grade. That will help me later on in knowing if my stretch marks are bad or good.

I had them on my boobs when I was in elementary / middle school - I'm a junior, almost a senior, in high school now and I can't see them at all anymore.

But I have multiple, small ones all over my stomach and sides. I'm ashamed of them mainly because of how I got them. I was in an abusive relationship when I was 14 and he always taunted me when I ate. So basically I dropped all of this weight because I wouldn't eat much and I'd go on to volleyball practice and overwork my body. After the relationship ended, it was like this switch went off in my head - I could EAT now. So I ate. A lot. And plumped right back up and got these little ugly stretch marks.

I'm going to try bio-oil because I've read great reviews about it.
