Finding Beauty

I may be freakishly short, but I'm cute to everyone...and I'll always look younger than I really am.

My legs might be a little thicker than I want them to be, but they're strong and atheletic legs.

My face may be fuller than others but it shows of my smile and gives me full cheeks.

My skin? It's purple. It's okay, though, because I like for people to look at me; and occasionally I like for them to ask about it (even if their eyes glaze over when I try to explain it to them. ).

My eyes are ACTUALLY copper. Like, no lie. My birth certificate even says 'Eye Color: Copper/Gold'. Uhm, that's awesome. So THANK YOU! Finnish genes, for my Copper eyes.

I look a lot younger then I am and sometimes people say my boyfriend looks like a pedophile cause of it, but maybe when I'm 30 it'll be a good thing.

I have a skin condition called keratosis pilaris. Another name for it is chicken skin. It's a form of eczema, and it makes these little bumps all over my arms and legs. They aren't that noticeable to the eye. They just feel like goosebumps if you run your hand over my skin.

As for the purpleness, I've had it all of my life; and if I'm cold, it's worse. I look like Barney the Dinosaur. My doctor tells me that it's just poor circulation, but I'm in sports and such and I'm doing just fine in those. My heart's fine. I asked if I needed to see a cardiologist, and he told me no, that I was fuctioning just fine and that he didn't think I needed to as long as there were no problems. I don't think he really knows exactly what it is.

It's incurable, so I have to live with it for the rest of forever.
I've come to terms with it, though. I've accepted who I am.

If I had a picture where you could see my skin, I'd post it. Let me see if I can find one.

My boobs are seriously lacking, but hey, at least they don't want to fly away when I run, unlike some of my other poor friends.

I have oily skin and get acne pretty badly, but it's disappearing slowly. I like my face.

I hate my huge thighs, but they make my ass look nice

I hate my black hair sometimes, but I still get compliments on how I style it.
Most of my friends are guys and can be frequently annoying, but there's less drama and more fun.
I'm loud but it's made me a new person.
I am a band geek but I have the oppurtunity to express myself in a way that some people cannot.
I took piano lessons for five years but I know A LOT about music theory now. :)

I've been told I have a 'ghetto' booty, but the guys like it XD
and I can get away without a bra sometimes because of my microscopic boobs :P
