    Music in general inspires me. I tend to get more inspiration from songs I've heard less or never before, because I find it easier to think about the meaning.

    At the current moment? Pictures, like from Tumblr or even the paranormal board on 4chan if I fancy writing horror. Especially with creepy pictures, I can look at one and have an entire plot just leap into my head, either for a one-shot or a chaptered story. Tumblr is wonderful for landscape pictures or people pictures, which always have something to offer. I love it.

    The story I'm working on right now is inspired by something that happened to me last night. It's an extreme reworking, but the emotions are there.

    Bees Dance in Red Dresses was inspired by an FtM story I read on LJ awhile back and I was just so entranced by this one scene where Brendon slides his hands up Ryan's chest and feels the binder under his shirt. It's stayed with me since I read it.

    As I Trimmed His Wings and The Blurred Shape of Two Pyromaniacs were both inspired by we_are_cities prompts.

    Brendon, You Asshole was inspired by me getting really horny reading fanfiction on LJ.

    Exactly What You Think It Is was inspired by Vices & Virtues.

    A lot of my stories as of late are written for contests or specific prompts.

    To tell you the truth I get the most inspiration when I'm trying to do assignments or studying for exams. It's always really annoying because I have to have a lot of discipline to finish my assignment.

    My BBB fic is inspired by the serial killer couple of Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka. I also had one Deathstars oneshot a long time ago inspired by one of their crimes specifically, but my BBB is a lot more extensive and pretty much goes from day one and whatnot.

    I'm also thinking of starting a fic soon inspired by the movie Mysterious Skin.

    Most of my stuff comes from music, sometimes books or movies. They all kinda go hand in hand though. Shifty

    Obviously pictures and music inspire me, but that pretty much applies to everyone.

    The Sims. The drama in Sims is minimal, but it is there, and I find myself creating storylines as to why these two Sims don't like each other, or about how depressed a sim should be after being fired or breaking up with someone.

    Watching interviews. Sometimes for random bits of canon, sometimes just because the people are so adorable in it (Brendon and Spencer, I'm looking at you Coffee) that it makes me want to write all the cute fic in the world and it's so inspiring.
