Ice Skating

I didn't see any ice skating posts so...

Does anyone ice skate? :)

I do, from time to time. My school has a rink so I go on the weekends. I'm not very good at it yet though, haha.

I love skating. It was a huge part of my life ages ago when I was living in canada :]

Me and my friends sometimes go to a place that's about an hour away by train. We love it! We play tag, its so much fun!

Yes! I absolutely love skating. I've been in lessons for a while now, and I must say I can't find many things I enjoy doing more.

Yep. I love ice skating. Everyone in Austria owns a pair of ice skates. We like to ice skate on frozen lakes...or at least I do. There's one a killometer from my apartment :)

I'm an ice dancer, so I don't jump (which makes me happy because I hated jumping). But I love ice dance, it's so fun!

I figure skate, not just skate. I love my coach, he's awesome and I've competed about three times so far. I usually rank from 2nd to 5th. I love jumping, I get scared when I have to do big jumps, but over all it gives me a thrill.

Do you guys just do it for fun? That's what I'm guessing from previous posts.

I figure skate. I've been figure skating for the past four/five years or so. I've never competed, because I've never had the time to do it and I moved two years ago and that got in the way of things and all that jazz... My school has an icerink, actually two, but figure skating isn't an option so I'm settling for trying out hockey instead. Hopefully there will be some free skates available to the students and I'll be able to whip out my figure skates then. I find figure skating really calming, I sort of forget about everything while doing it. I love it, it's so much fun. It makes me feel beautiful and graceful, which is hard sometimes. I love jumping, and I love spinning, it's all so much fun in my eyes.

I like everything that has to do with ice. We had an amateur ice hockey team. But I definitely look a little clumsy when I try to show artistry on the ice)) It's not mine ..
