Because it is an adjective. Shifty

But I'm assuming you mean "as an adjective meaning stupid/lame/bad", in which case I sort of agree. I mean, I understand why people do it; I just don't understand how anyone who isn't anti-gay and gives the issue a moment of thought would continue to use the word that way. Although I suppose a lot of people don't ascribe as much power to words as they really deserve.

Okay so I guess I understand, but I still agree that it's ridiculous and should happen.

    ...Yeah. XD

Why overweight people get dirty looks from skinny people when they go to the gym. At least they are actually going and trying.

    anarchy.
Anarchy is the belief that the individual should be the ones to say how they should run their lives, and not the government and it can not be obtained nor sustained through violence.

I'm an anarchist, I can explain it in more detail, if you like.

^ I understand the concept and I know what it means and all that; I've researched it a fair bit. I just don't understand why anyone would think it's a good - or realistic - idea. Obviously the non-violence aspect of it is great, but I think peacefulness is a goal and requirement of many ideologies, not just anarchism so I can't support it on that basis alone. The rest of it, however, I just don't agree with and cannot fathom, not to mention it's so wildly improbable. Much of my dislike of anarchism probably stems from inherent preconceived notions associated with it, though - rioting, violence, inexplicable rebellion, etc. Which I know none of these things have to do uniquely with anarchism, or are supported by all anarchists.

But I'm also a radical left-wing Marxist, which deeply conflicts with anarchism in many ways, and am very pro-government, so there's that, too. xD

So yeah, I understand it, I just don't understand it, ya know?

(Also, I'm sorry if I offended you or it seemed like I was bashing your beliefs. Since I'm basically a commie, which seems to be a big universal no-no, I'm used to getting my beliefs belittled a lot, so I've got a tough skin about it.)

Yeah, I meant like a derogatory adjective.

I just think it's rude, though I know most of the time the people who say it aren't purposefully trying to be disrespectful. I just don't get why they can't say something sucks or that they don't like it instead of calling it "gay".

Why so many threads on this site are oriented towards bands. There's more to music than bands, and I personally listen to more solo artists than bands.

Glee karaoke. I just find it redundant, like if someone made a cover of a cover Facepalm I don't hate the show or anything, I just don't get the concept of the karaoke game XD

Having extreme Christmas lights/decorations all over your house/yard if you live on the end of a street. I live at the very end of a random backroad, and my neighbors always go way overboard for Christmas, and I don't understand it because it's not like anyone's going to see all those lights and crap. Why not use that money to decorate the inside of your house instead so that at least then you could enjoy it? Facepalm

This particular 'friend' of mine and the way her mind works. If you finish work at six and you still have to cycle home, get changed and cycle to the train station, then get the train (which takes 1,5 hour) and walk 25 min to the venue, when the gig starts at seven. How the hell are you going to make it in time?
