Writing the Craziness

I think the "craziest" thing I've every written was when Gerard fell in love with Darren Criss right after getting burning hot coffee spilled all over him.

- When John and Piper fell in love despite being siblings
- When John and Piper had sex while their friends were in the basement
-When John died and came back as an angel to make his friends happy
- When Alyssa fell in love with said angel!John
- When Garrett became abusive.

I'll try not to spill about other stories, but so far the most crazy thing I've written about is that a girl thought she killed her parents but she really didn't.

Oh, and a girl who really killed her whole foster family when she was like, seven or eight. That was eerie, but fun to write.

When Eleanor had a panic attack and yelled at Dylan and nearly froze to death on the balcony.

My newest story definitely is the most insane and weird thing I've ever written. I don't want to give too much away, but it involves aliens, abductions, and impregnation. (Also, it's a crossover of like 4 fandoms, but that's a story for another thread. )

I think the most craziness I had was Lydia in Disturb the Peace. She did quite a few questionable things to try to get back at Zayn, and it was fun to write out all of her drunken emotions and thoughts afterwards.

So, I write a lot of Quantum Leap fic now which involves a LOT of "craziness", generally, because weird, awkward, and sometimes messed up stuff is kinda par for the course with QL fic (and also canon material, albeit not always to the same twisted/sadistic extent the fandom takes things a lot.)
A specific example I can think of that was especially crazy though, was in Still Here when Sam flipped out and beat that one guy half to death. That was one of those things where I actually almost rewrote the whole thing because I worried I went too far. I'm still not 100 percent I didn't go to far, but fans on AO3 have never busted me on it, so I guess I maybe made it work. It's just...that's really far outside the realm of what his character would normally do. It's not like he's totally non-violent or anything, but that kind of violence is not usual for him. Then again, that whole story could qualify for "the craziness" really, given the hell I put him through in it.

Also, in a totally different fandom, my Glee fic series The End of the World as We Know It is full of crazy stuff. Like, it's the zombie apocalypse though. What do you expect?

Cause in my newest Glee fic series (none of which is posted on here at the moment), I really put my boys through it. It's another post-apocalyptic series because I guess I only write like 5 tropes total ever. So there's that. And Adam's pregnant (it's A/B/O) so he's really going through it.
I don't wanna spoil too much specific stuff, but they go through a lot of stuff and meet a lot of different folk. At one point, Adam punches a guy (that's extreme from him.) At another later point, Kurt shoots a guy. They hang out with a bunch of hippies. They have to walk uphill both ways in the snow. Yeah a lot of stuff. I better stop spoiling stuff before I REALLY spoil stuff too much. (Although, I am actually not sure if I'll post it here ever because like... I have no audience here at all.)
