Things You Are Most Obsessed With When It Comes To Mibba

Discussion threads. Over the years I got into all kinds of obsessions, including, but not limited to: journal posting/stalking/commenting, story and poem writing/reading/commenting/reviewing (jeez that seems like ages ago), theme making (that was kindof completely ruined by the tiny avatars, but even so I still enjoy it on a smaller scale, for example, I've insisted on continuing to have black&white themes and I don't think I've had a non-black&white one since 2009, it's a nice thing to think about), the Confessions thread, WAYT, all the trends which went with those two, etc, but only discussion threads remained a constant. I dunno, a lot of people say that they're very intimidating, but I've always felt a lot more comfortable there than on OT threads like Confessions or WAYT. You don't have to know any of the other people posting, be an old member, 'Mibba famous' or have a lot of friends to be noticed in a discussion thread, all you have to do is say something interesting then be willing to discuss your opinions. It's very cool, I wish more people would post on discussion threads, they've mostly empty these days.

The Tips section of the forums, I think. I don't venture much into the discussion forums 'cause they intimidate me and I'm not as fond of the General section as I used to be, but the Tips section is always fun.

Forums, mainly General. I tend to go to the music one for the Avenged Sevenfold thread. I also like making profile layouts and forum themes.

Forums, mostly the general and writing contest threads, journals, making themes and story pages. And, ya know, writing.

Stalking amazingly-written stories, leaving awestruck comments and being jealous of the authors' talent.

Forums, making layouts, commenting folk, reminiscing over old conversations and poems.

Forums, journals, and occasionally lurking around peoples profiles.

I love blog stalking, sometimes stalking particular people's profiles if they have interesting opinions, I love the My Mibba feed and the fact that we can recc stories, the layout maker (took a while for me to comprehend but I dig it now), and that's all I can think of.

The ability to stalk my friends

Forums, blog stalking and signature / theme making.

What I am MOST obsessed with:

1. The blogs. I like reading other peoples blogs. I just find it interesting to know what other people are thinking and going through in their daily lives. If I like a certain person’s blog a lot and am invested in what they blog about, than I even subscribe to them (but I never get notified when they do update lol ::XD). Every time I log on to Mibba, I instinctively hit the blog section without even having to think about it. Then I scroll through the titles to see what interests me or if someone I like has posted anything.

My 2nd obsession on Mibba:

1. The poem section. I like reading poems now more than stories. Back when I was first on Mibba I would read the latter. But now I just mostly read the poems, because I feel like it is the better form of expression for me as a writer lately, so it’s the form of expression I am drawn to read from others. (I guess it reflects itself in that way lol).

My 3rd (and final) obsession on Mibba:

1. The forum section. Back when I first joined, I never treaded into the forum terroritory. But now I see what fun it is. Especially since it gives me something to occupy my mind with when I am bored or need a break from reality. It’s definitely a lot of fun and I wish I would have used this part of Mibba more back when the site was active.

(Bonus) What I wish I could be obsessed with on Mibba:

1. The stories. I just can’t seem to read like I used to when I was younger. I haven’t really been interacting with this part of Mibba in a WHILE. It’s been going on almost five years now or so.

2. The Role Play forum. I could never figure out how to get active on that part of Mibba. I sometimes felt like the little kid who wasn’t chosen to play with the group. Especially when I was in the Military and I wanted to RP so I could take my mind off of the stress. But nowadays I don’t really want to RP anymore, but I used to always rp. Especially with one of my old middle school friends who I recommended to go to Mibba to RP back then. Funny that I did that since I was never all that active in it back then in the first place hahaha lol
