Haha of course! So slash would be a love story using two male characters as the love interests, femmeslash would be a love story using two female characters as the love interests. Het is just short for "heterosexual" which pretty much speaks for itself...

Slash is a term that describes a romantic and/or sexual relationship between two (or more) male characters. Femmeslash is the same, but with female characters.
When I was new to this website, I clicked on a story that said, "slash," and I learned that way. Of course it was a bit embarrassing because the story was pure smut. That's why I'm such a pervert now.
