Diamonds and Wrenches

"What have I done to you?" Dana muttered. "I'm trying to help you."

Cadence looked at her, "You and everyone else is trying to ruin my life. You're not helping you're making it worse." She said.

"What? You think your life will be amazing with that loser?" Dana muttered.

Cadence slapped her, "Don't call him that." She said. Cadence stepped back, "I'm sorry." She whispered.

Dana took a deep breath. "I see that you care about him much more than you do me," she muttered. "Is loving him worth losing your best friend and your family?"

Cadence frowned, "Yes." She replied. She walked out of the gallery then went to her apartment. Cadence sighed as she packed all her stuff and loaded it into her car. She cleaned out her apartment then called a place to have her furniture moved. Cadence drove to Logan's house, putting a note on his windshield. If you care at all you'll show up. She sighed her name then put an address down. Cadence drove out of the city till she pulled into a town. She walked into a house and sighed. It was the house she lived in before her dad got rich. She bit her bottom lip lightly as she turned the light on.

Logan finished packing what little he had and walked out to his car, his eyebrows furrowing together when he saw a note. He grabbed it and read it, frowning deeply. He put his stuff in the trunk and walked back in, grabbing Max and carrying him out to his car. He sat him in and then got in, looking at the address on the note. He bit his lip hard and took a deep breath, starting his car. He backed out of the driveway and drove away from his house. He drove to the address on the paper, looking up at the house when he got there.

Cadence crossed her arms as she slowly walked through the halls. She walked down to the living room and sat down slowly. She ran her fingers through her hair and sighed. She hoped Logan would show up.

Logan looked over at Cadence's car before he got out and shut the door, keeping the air on for Max. He walked up to the front door and knocked on it.

Cadence looked at the door then walked over and opened it. "Hey." She whispered.

"Why'd you ask me to meet you here?" Logan asked.

Cadence let him come in then shut the door, "Because we need to talk." She said.

"What more is there to talk about?" Logan mumbled.

Cadence looked at him, "Us." She replied.

Logan sighed. "What about us?" he mumbled.

Cadence looked at him, "I just wanna be with you." She said.

Logan's eyes widened in surprise. "You . . . you do?" he mumbled.

Cadence nodded, "Yes i do. I'm sorry i was so horrible to you." She said.

Logan stepped towards her and engulfed her in his arms, hugging her tightly. "Sh," he whispered.

Cadence hugged him back and rubbed his back, "I'm sorry Logan." She whispered.
