Running Out of Steam

Have you ever been working on a story for so long that you just started to run out of steam near the end? That's kind of what I'm going through right now. I'm close to finishing a story, but I'm losing the motivation to write it.

Has this ever happened to you? If so, discuss about what you do to motivate yourself again.

Well this is actually happening to me with Girl Behavior, I love that story but I feel like I'm forcing myself to write it. I guess what motivates me to write again is by just keep thinking about the story without actually writing anything. In the end I'll be so obsessed with thinking of it that I'll eventually sit down and write more.

I actually think the closer I am to the end, the easier it is to finish. I get that way when I've had an idea in my head for so long though. If I've been thinking about it for months, I usually run out of steam for it before I even start writing.
