D: I feel so bad for not getting back to you earlier, I was so slumped with life that I never got a chance to tackle this contest. I really don't want to give you something rushed, so I'm actually going to have to drop out last minute. I'm sorry for not mentioning something before, I've just been so busy! Sorry!

^ we're on the same boat. I really thought I would have time to work on this, but it hasn't worked out like I had planned. My boss called me into work at the last minute. I'm sorry I have to back out; this is a great idea for a contest, and it pains me to not be able to participate. I can't commit the time to create something worth reading, and I don't want to waste your time with some shoddy piece. Incredibly sorry!

My computer has a virus and keeps crashing, so I might be able to post my entry (which is already written) with a plain layout, maybe. I have had it done for a while but my computer refuses to cooperate. I'll try and get it in!

But just in case, may I have like two or three days?

I feel like such a wiener right now, but I'm gonna have to drop out of your contest due to my lack of inspiration. Every time I'd try to write something, I'd end up typing out like, two words and just staring at the document for about an hour. I'm sorry!

So I know the deadline was a good while ago... but do you think I could submit a one shot I wrote? I like my other piece enough, but as I said previously, I feel it's not my best. I've just been thinking and I have another story that I wrote for ANOTHER contest whose host went AWOL. It didn't get any love whatsoever and I'm trying to find a contest I can enter it in. It would be "the Husband".
I guess it's a pre-write, which are not allowed, but I'm going to post this anyway because I am an audacious bastard.
