Destry blushed. "Umm I will need you to guard one of the doors." she said feeling her blood rising. Could she kill?

Destry nodded and showed him the way then she went the other way. She stood at the door trembling already. Destry thought of her mother and her father and she felt her trembling stop and she was angry. She was so angry she felt ready to kill him. Destry kicked open the door. "Garret." she snarled and pulled out a knife wanting to get close. She dropped her bow and her cloak so she would have getter maneuverability.

Bren slipped inside and drew his bow quickly sweeping the room. Garret shot up pulling a sword from its sheath. He growled, "What is this intrusion?" he asked loudly

"You don't remember your own fiance Garret?" she asked and blocked his sword with her knife but his eyes looked into hers and she felt a chill seeing his soul even as fowl as it was. She couldn't take his soul... Destry felt her knees giving out. She was panicking and there was the hesitation. The hesitation that could get her killed.

Bren saw Destry hesitate and loosed and arrow hitting Garrets hand and it flicked out a small blade. "Don't hesitate, it gets you killed," he said softly.

Destry looked at Garret and the tear started to cloud her vision. "Why Garret?" She demanded and dropped him to his knees easily removing his weapons from his hands. She held the knife to his throat. She had the ability in that moment to kill him and he looked up at her his life in her hands she couldn't. Destry dropped her knife. "I won't do to you what you did to my parents... But Bren will." She said and stepped back. She felt a tear fall and she looked over at Bren. She went back to the door and grabbed her bow and arrows. Desrty couldn't kill that man. Not will him like this. She didn't understand why.

Bren stepped forward, and offer Garret his sword back, "you can die like a man, or like the coward you are, your choice," he said coldly. He drew his blade and took a stance. Garret drew and they began fighting. Bren parrying all of Garrets strikes, and laid of few of his own down. The fight drew on, and Garret dropped his guard, Bren to the opportunity and ran him through, forcing his blade though his belly, he quickly spun and took off his head, killing him quickly

Destry looked away as Bren finished Garret off. There was an angry yell and a very large man charged at Bren. "Bren!" Destry shouted seeing he was in danger and she pulled her arrow and shot the guard in the chest. The arrow easily cut through his chest and punctured his heart. Destry looked at the man as he dropped his body lifeless.

Bren spun quickly and saw the man drop. He relaxed, "I guess its over, we just have to convince the people you are who you say you are," he said lightly. He was glad their fight was over, and they'd be able to just relax, and be themselves

Destry breathed hard her head spinning. "Hmm." she said and dropped her weapons. She moved over to him and tossed her arms around him kissing him.

Bren smiled and kissed her deeply, "God I love you, he said softly

Destry smiled back. "I love you too." she said. She knew that everything would work out now. Now that she had Bren by her side, and the kingdom back, everything would work out.
