Who made you the authority on music? Especially when there is no authority on music, because music is purely based on what you like, not by concrete criteria for judging. And your opinion is not one bit better or "more informed" than anyone elses. Music is a beautiful and very personal thing, and insulting people's musical preferences just to make yourself feel cool is just rude.

And saying that rap/country/techno/screamo/whatever isn't real music because YOU don't like is insulting to the genre and fans of it, and just plain asinine really. If it wasn't "real music", than why have there been so many successful artists in it and so many fans of it? You honestly think we're all just brainwashed by the media or some shit? [/rant]

When people patronize me with this ridiculous, know-it-all attitude where they think they're Buddha or something and they're actually quite young. "I behave/feel/think like I'm in my twenties!" No disrespect, you really don't know what you're talking about unless you know what it's like to actually be an adult. I find it arrogant when people say this, as if their, although understandably tough, adolescent/high school experiences relate at all to being a grown person on their own.

All these Paramore/Hayley articles talking about the spilt.
Yes, I understand that Josh and Zac were loved and that they will be sorely missed, but really, does Kerrang! have to write about it two issues in a row? It really pissed me off, as one article was titled 'Paramore is still a band' and then it went on the talk about Hayley and how she might do a solo album. It wouldn't surprise me if she did, but Jeremy and Taylor didn't get any recognition. I understand that there are lots of Paramore fans that are really upset because of this, but personally, I'm sick of it.

(This probably makes no sense, but I am in no way aiming this at anyone.)
