In a downward spiral.

Kim walked into Jimmy's house without knocking, looking around the cluttered area and rolling her eyes. His house was always so messy but what did you expect from an alcoholic and a pill addict. She kicked a liquor bottle as she walked further into the house and found him passed out on the couch, scoffing quietly as she stumbled over to where he was, still high off of the blunt she had smoked before she had come over and the cocaine she had snorted. "Jimmy! Wake up!"

Gerard stumbled down an empty road, groaning quietly at the pain pounding in his head. He had just left a bar and they had taken his keys from him because he was 'too drunk to drive.' Which he thought was complete bullshit because he didn't get too drunk to drive. He looked around with blurry eyes, shaking his head slightly as he ran a hand through his messy hair. He pulled out his phone and attempted to call his girlfriend, sighing softly.

"Mmph." Jimmy waved an arm lazily at the sound. He was coherent enough to recognize the voice, but he was having such a nice dream. He shook off the dregs of sleep before things became problematic. "Yeah, baby? What d'ya want?" Managing to move himself into a somewhat sitting position, Jimmy blinked the sleep from his eyes before blearily focusing on the woman in front of him. "Are you stoned?" He wasn't exactly in the position to judge, but still.

Violet fumbled for her cellphone, knocking over a book in the process. "Hi, sweetie. You okay?" In an attempt to pick up the book without getting off the couch, she stretched herself across the armrest and managed to just barely grasp the edge. "Where are you?" She placed the book back on the table before curling up in the corner of the couch once more. It was too cold, and she was tired. Of course, insomnia meant she was always pretty tired, but today seemed to be one of the worse days.

Kim stared at her lover for a moment before she burst out laughing at the word 'stoned'. The word had always made her laugh, especially while she was high. And hearing Jimmy say it in that cute lisp of his just made it even funnier in the state she was in. "I-I... What? No! Of course not!" she stuttered out through her fits of laughter, leaning over and holding her stomach. She was silently cursing herself in her mind for being such a giggly person when she was high because that was an automatic give away that she was high but she was also glad for the fact that he didn't know that she was also high on things other than weed.

Gerard blinked for a moment as he heard a voice on the other end of the phone. He couldn't really understand who it was or what was going on before he realized that it was his girlfriend Violet and that he had indeed called her because he couldn't figure out where he was and he needed someone to pick him up. "I need you to come pick m'up," he slurred, stumbling a bit toward a bar that was close by. He was going to find someone inside of the bar so he could give them the phone and they could give Violet the location of where they were at that way she could come pick him up. He didn't want to be stranded where he was at.

Hearing Kim's laugh caused Jimmy himself to start laughing as well. "C'mere, baby." He reached for her and managed to grab hold of her waist, pulling her towards him. Nuzzling against her shoulder, he tried to calm himself but failed. "What did you even do?" Somewhere, under the cottony layers of alcohol, he was a bit upset to see her like this. Being in the state he was in, though, he couldn't bring himself to do much more than gently swat her arm. "Don't do too much of that shit. I don' want you getting hurt or something because of it."

Violet cringed as the background noise grew louder. "If you're at the local one, just stay put and I'll be there in a few minutes, okay?" She raised her voice a bit in order to be heard. "Gee, don't drink anymore. You sound pretty smashed already, and I don't want to end up having to drag you out of there." Bars were one of her least favorite places, mainly because of the volume. She dragged herself off the couch and grabbed her keys along with a jacket, staying on the phone the entire time. "Are you at the local one?"

Kim shook her head as she sniffled and reached up to wipe her nose. She didn't realize that her eyes were as small as pins and she was oblivious to Jimmy being drunk except for the obvious bottles sitting around them. "I-I didn't do anything wrong, baby," she stuttered as her laughs started to subside. She couldn't help herself with her laughing because the effects of the weed was a depressant but at the same time she had taken cocaine which gave her an obvious high that she was experiencing. She threw her arms around Jimmy's neck and pressed her lips to his, humming quietly. "I am so high," she murmured against his lips.

Gee looked up at the bar that he was standing in front of and blinked a few times so that he could see the name of it. He slumped against the side of the building as he pinched the bridge of his nose and groaned quietly at the slowly forming headache as the liquor started to ware off, the side affects from yesterday slowly starting to hit him. "It issss," he slurred. "I think. It's called Markie's Bar," he muttered as he blinked at the bright fluorescents. He didn't like the bright lights that were shining in his eyes and he just wanted to sleep as of now.

Jimmy returned her kiss with more force than he had intended. "I can see that..." He fell back against the couch, pulling Kim along with him. "Did you take extra today or what? You seem extra high." He tried focusing on her eyes, but found that to be too small of an area for his current state. He settled for just looking at her face. "You look high." Giving her cheek a playful poke, he found himself laughing again. Deep down, he was well aware that this certainy was not a funny thing, but he just found it so amusing at the moment. "Babe, I don't know why I'm laughing," he managed between half-formed chuckles. "Why are you laughing?"

"Okayy…" Violet wedged the phone between her shoulder and her ear as she stuck the key into the ignition. "Please stay somewhere I'll be able to find you easily. I'll be there in a few minutes. Just stay put and don't drink more." And stay awake, she added mentally. If he fell asleep, she would have to find someone who coherent enough to help her drag him out, and those types of people were rare in a place like Markie's. She pulled out onto the road, starting on the path to the bar. "How much did you have, Gerard?" Speed limits became less of a concern as her mind filled with worries of him getting into a fight. She knew he would never start a fight, but that didn't mean others wouldn't see him as a potential target.

Kim looked down at him as she straddled his lap while he fell back on the couch. She ran her hands down his arms, the feeling being intensified because of the two drugs she had mixed but also because the drugs alone intensified the feelings of touch, smell, and taste. "I-I'm laughing because I'm kind of high," she murmured as she shook her head, sighing softly as she pressed her forehead against his. Her laughs had definitely died down so she was trying to get Jimmy to calm down now and figure out what else he was on besides being drunk.

Gee tried to keep his eyes open to keep himself awake as he listened to her, shaking his head as he rolled his eyes a bit. She was starting to sound like a nagging wife or something by asking him how much he had had and telling him not to drink anymore. If he wanted to drink some more then he would drink all he wanted to. He would even drink to the point of alcohol poisoning if he felt like it. "I had a lot, okay?" he muttered as he groaned quietly, trying to blink the headache away although he knew deep down that it wasn't doing to work.

Jimmy blinked up at her, a little dazed from the chemicals. Kim was a little blurry, but if he focused just enough, he could see her clearly. "I'm laughing because you're kind of high, too. Or maybe because I'm kind of high. Or because we both are." The thought of that normally would've bothered him, but at the moment it caused nothing but slight amusement. He fit his arms around her waist, shifting a little to bring her closer. Gradually, the giggles started escaping him once more.

Violet was only a few turns away. "…Okay. I'm almost there, so just hang on for a little bit more, okay?" As she rounded the next corner, the phone she had wedged between her ear and shoulder slipped and fell. "Shit." She ducked down and quickly retrieved the object, swerving to narrowly miss another vehicle in the process. "I'm here." She pulled into the parking lot before switching off the car and getting out. "Where are you?"

Kim whined quietly at his giggles and tried to calm him down by pressing her hands to his cheeks and staring into his eyes. "Jimmy, baby. Calm dowwwwn," she mumbled as she pressed her lips to his again. She didn't know how to calm him down because it had been awhile since she had been around him when he was high. "What did you take?" She asked him as she moved her body closer to his.

"I'm on the side of the building," Gee murmured incoherently. He was practically gone by this point and there was no turning back. He didn't know why Violet cared about him this much and tried to help him when he couldn't be helped. He was a drunk that wasn't ever going to get better and the sooner she realized that the better. He just had to find a way to explain that to her without hurting her.

"Mmm. . ." Jimmy mumbled against Kim's lips, trying hard and somewhat succeeding at looking back at her. "Dunno. Different things, I think. Can't really remember." His hands drifted lower as he spoke, attention already focused on something else. Eyes sweeping over Kim and around the room, he blinked in cottony realization. "Oh, right. I took," he waved a hand around lazily, gesturing to the bottles, before placing it back on Kim's lower back. "That's what I took. And something else. What did you take?" Keeping eye contact was too hard. He settled for nuzzling against her neck instead.

Violet ended the call, looking around for any signs of life in the shadows. There was a dark blob against the farther wall that looked kind of familiar. Hoping it was Gerard, she rushed over and crouched down beside him, cringing a little at the stench of alcohol wafting off of him. "Sweetie?" She brushed the tangles out of his face to get a better look. "I'm here now. Can you stand?"

Kim leaned her head against Jimmy's when he nuzzled his face in her neck. She closed her eyes and relaxed against him as she tried to see through the haze to remember what all drugs she had mixed into her system this time. Sometimes when she couldn't find her choice of drug, she let Jimmy feed her his drug of choice. "You know what I took, baby," Kim murmured as she let out a soft sigh when her high started to wear off slowly.

Gee mumbled something incoherently before he pushed himself up off of the ground, attempting to steady himself by holding onto the wall. Gerard wasn't an alcoholic. He was a drunk and there was a big difference between the two that not many people realized. He still got hung over and he didn't stay completely wasted all day. Sometimes he was just buzzed. "mm, I dun' know," he grumbled.

Jimmy sniffed, cupping her neck with one hand. "You had pot and you didn't bring me any?" He knew there must have been more than just the pot, but the other possibilities seemed too numerous to narrow down. Jimmy started laughing again as a sudden thought occurred, trying and failing to stifle the sound. "You know what I just thought of? This is going to feel awful when it's gone. I'm going to be so fucking hungover—" He laughed, pressing a kiss to Kim's cheek. "And so will you! I mean, I think you'll be hungover too. Maybe." He sighed as the laughter subsided. "We're crazy, you know."

"Okay, that's okay." Violet draped his free arm over her shoulders, wrapping her arms around Gee's waist. "I'm going bring you back to my place, okay? We're going home now." They'd have to come back for his car in the morning, assuming Gerard was sober enough to drive safely. Which he probably wouldn't be. Which meant she'd either have to make two trips and walk to the bar the second time so she could drive his car home, or she could call a friend and ask for a favor. But then the friend would ask questions again and— "I'm going to bring you home, okay? Come on." She started walking, staggering a little under his weight.

"I'm not going to be hungover. I didn't drink like you did," Kim mumbled as she shook her head a bit. She arched a brow when Jimmy told her that they were crazy, snorting quietly at the thought. "Crazy in love, maybe," she grinned. She was more in love with Jimmy than she had ever been with anyone before in her life. And she didn't blame him for getting her on drugs. She knew it was bound to happen because of the lifestyle he led. Which was why she was glad that he supported her habits because it was his fault.

Gee stumbled over to Violets car with her, grumbling under his breath incoherently as they went. He didn't really want to go back home to her house because she had neighbors who knew of his band and he didn't think he could deal with people asking questions. "Mmf, I wanna go to my house," he muttered to her a bit louder than he thought he was being.

"You didn't? Okaaay," Jimmy slurred, loving the way Kim looked when she smiled. "We're all sorts of crazy." One day they'd have to stop this. It wasn't healthy, both of them constantly overdoing what would have been fine in moderation. He'd stop one day, if he could. But what would happen to Kim if he stopped? She'd probably leave him. His arms around her grew tighter at the thought. Maybe leaving him would be better for her, but he was too selfish to care.

"But--Okay. We can do that." Even though everything was at her house and Violet couldn't just leave him alone like this because who knew what he would do and-- She made a small noise, maneuvering around Gerard to get the car door open and ushering him inside. She needed something take away the noise in her head. Gerard had sleeping pills at his house, she was sure. After all, she was the one who had put them there.

Kim relaxed in Jimmy's arms, barely noticing the fact that Jimmy had tightened his arms around her. She buried her face in the crook of his neck and closed her eyes, letting out a soft sigh as she wrapped her own arms around him. "We are all sorts of crazy," Kim smiled. She pressed gentle kisses along his neck, sucking on the spot that drove him completely insane every time she kissed it.

Gee started to fall asleep soon after he was in the car. He was having a nightmare but he couldn't quite wake up from it. He had put himself in a coma and he didn't know how long it would take for him to wake up from it.

Jimmy whined, tilting his head back. God, Kim was great. He let his arms slip down, lower, as his hands drifted. One hand came up to tangle in her hair as her mouth moved before he tugged on her hair gently, bring her mouth to his.

What a distraction. Violet drove as quickly as legally possible, glancing over at Gerard's restless form every so often. He seemed to be having a nightmare, but she couldn't do anything about that now. "We're almost there, baby, I—" It only took a second for the oncoming vehicle to crumple the metal of her sedan like paper, deploying the airbags and shattering the windows, sending a shower of glass over her.

Kim groaned quietly as she kissed Jimmy back, the fact that Jimmy knew she loved when her hair was pulled making her want to jump his bones right then. She ran her tongue over his bottom lip gently, nipping at it lightly.

Gee woke up in the hospital a few hours later, groaning at the pain in his head and the fact that his whole body ached. He blinked his eyes open slowly, squinting at the bright light. "Where the fuck am I?" He muttered as he started to sit up.

Jimmy hummed as his hand slowly made its way up Kim's shirt, the other remaining tangled in her hair. Her skin was always impossibly soft, it seemed, and he loved it. Loved her. He found himself grinning against the curve of her lips between the kisses.

"Good, you're awake." The doctor stepped in, walking over to Gerard with an obviously fake smile, clipboard in hand. "Well, things aren't too bad for you, considering the amount of alcohol in your system during the time of the crash. We had some minor complications, but nothing too serious."

Kim grinned back against his lips and shivered lightly from the feeling of his hand running up her shirt. She nipped at his bottom lip and rolled her hips against his lightly, whining a bit at the anticipation that was building up. She loved having sex with Jimmy while she was high. It always intensified things and made everything feel so much better.

"But Violet?" Gee asked him quietly as he looked up at the doctor with sad eyes. He felt terrible that he had made Violet come out to him that late at now and now she was probably terribly hurt because of his decisions. He didn't really know what to do and he felt like crying.
