Not What I Seem To Be....[closed]

Scotty walked into Micah's parents house with his parents and looked around. They were going over there for dinner which seemed to be a repeating thing lately. He looked over as Michah's dad, Bill walked into the living room and started talking with his dad and him about the latest basketball game. Scotty looked over when Micah came walking down the stairs with his friends. "Hey Micah." He said with a smile. He was always nice to Micah and people never understood why because a lot of people made fun of the kid. Scotty was hoping to avoid Micah's little sister thought because her friends were always so fascinated with him and giggly. He looked back over when his dad started taking again.

Micah's mom looked over as Micah and his friend, Aaron walked in. "Hey sweetie is your friend staying for dinner?" She asked as she put the rolls in the oven.

Micah smiled as he heard the door open and the sound of familiar voices that meant that the Daniels family had arrived. They had become a common occurrence for dinner - and Micah didn't mind all too much. He smiled as he walked downstairs with Aaron and met eyes with Scotty. He had always thought that he was rather cute. A complete heartthrob around the school besides. But Micah wasn't dumb - he knew that he was way out of Scotty's playing field and he didn't pretend differently. He was at least rational about it.

"Hey Scotty," he said with a smile, nodding his head to him before turning to look at his mother. "Do you want to, Aaron?" He asked. And of course he did. "Yeah - he's staying - unless he's imposing on this gathering..." He said softly and then frowned over at a disapproving look from his father. He was just never good enough for him.

His mom nodded, "Of course he can stay." She said with a smile. Scotty stood there listening to the guys talk and crossed his arms as he listened. He heard Micah's sister and friends come down the stairs though. He said hi to them because they said hi to him. He hated when they got all girly and weird though. Scotty was glad when her friends left and it was time to eat. He sat next to his dad as Micah's mom put the food on the table. Scotty looked over when his mom spoke to his dad then took a sip of his drink. He looked over at Micah for a moment then looked away. He didn't want to get caught staring at the boy.

Micah smiled a little and nodded to his mother. She was always so understanding - sometimes he didn't understand how his parents had ever worked out together, considering the way that his father disapproved of him. He sat down at the dinner table directly across from Scotty and smiled at him for a moment before becoming immersed in a conversation with Aaron. It wasn't like they avoided talking to Scotty either - but it was also easier to not get caught up in the mentality of recognizing how handsome Scotty really was. He smiled over at him every once and a while, inviting him into their conversation.

Scotty sat there looked at his food for a moment and looked up when he heard Bill say something to him. Bill looked at him, "So how was your first time?" He asked. Scotty had missed half the conversation so he looked at him for a moment. "What?" He asked. Bill looked at him, "You're first time playing at Central high?" He asked. Scotty cleared his throat, "Oh right, it was good." He said. He took a sip of his water and scratched the back of his neck. It was a nervous habit of his that he need to take care of. He looked at Micah for a moment then leaned back against his chair as he waited for everyone to finish. Scotty stood up after everyone else then helped Micah's mom clear the table. He walked out and sat down in the living room as his dad talked to him again. Micah's sister stood there talking to her mom about Scotty. Scotty's mom took a sip of her wine, "Oh well he's not into....." She stopped, "He like some other girl." She corrected herself. She hoped she hadn't just given things away.

Micah tuned into listening about Scotty's game. Only because there was nothing better to talk about. He wondered what it would've been like if he had been more like Scotty. If he was the energetic, athletic type instead of the meek artistic one. He was sure his father would take him more seriously than he did know. His father would barely look at him since he was such a mistake - but he had learned to embrace it. It was who he was. But Scotty's life had to be pretty nice too. And he was the one kid who could say that Scotty was nice to him even when everyone else bullied him.
He helped his mother clear the table with Scotty and then went to say goodbye to Aaron softly as he departed for the evening. When he came back, he took a seat on the floor against the wall since most of the seats were taken - and he was more of an observer than a participant.

Scotty was kind of glad when it was time to go. He could only handle so much conversation about sports and he was kind of tired. He said goodbye to everyone then walked out of the house. He thought about Micah and how adorable the kid was. He knew that his parents weren't extremely happy about him liking guys, but they kept it a secret for now until he was ready to tell people. He didn't think now was the time to tell them though.

Micah sighed a little as he said goodbye to Scotty. It was nice having their families together. It seemed like his father didn't take so much anger out in him when he had Scotty to discus sports with all of the time, so that was always a nice thing. Yet sometimes it was annoying with his sister constantly giggling about him and all, but he got used to it. There were just those boundaries.

Scotty walked up to Micah's room with him while their parents talked and what not. They were going to work on some homework. Scotty stepped into Micah's room for the first time since they were little kids. It had certainly changed a lot. He glanced around for a moment at the stuff on the walls. "So you do a lot of painting huh?' HE asked as he looked at the stuff on the walls. He looked over at Micah and smiled as he watched the boy shut the door.

Micah was a little nervous to have Scotty up in his room, but he tried not to show it. What if he thought it was all dumb? What if he laughed and told the school how dumb he was? He just took the leap of faith that it would be okay. He blushed to his words and shrugged. "Yeah..." He said softly. "I really love it. It speaks to me..." He said softly as he shut the door and then turned to look at Scotty. This was a sight he thought he would never see - Scotty in his room - even if they were just doing homework.

Scotty nodded, "I like it." He said. He looked at him, "So you wanna go ahead and get start?" He asked as he sat on Micah's bed with him. He worked with him for a bit then looked over at Micah for a few moments. Scotty bit his bottom lip lightly as he thought for a moment. He knew that Micah was gay, but he didn't know if he was into him or not. Scotty placed his hand on Micah's cheek then kissed him softly, not knowing how he would react. He smirked when he felt Micah kissed him back the moved the books from Micah's lap and deepened the kiss.

Micah was surprised when he was pulled into a kiss. Here they had come up here to do work and suddenly Scotty had pulled him into a kiss. Scotty. Fucking. Daniels. He was in slight disbelief, but he kissed back eagerly - because for how long had he suppressed daydreams about this sort of stuff? Maybe he was even dreaming now, but he didn't care. He wrapped his arms around Scotty lightly and sighed into the kiss, kissing him back equally. He didn't want this to end.

Scotty moved so Micah was laying back on the bed and kissed him some more. He knew he was probably rushing things but he had thought about this for awhile. Micah's mom came walking up the stairs and opened the door, "Micah i....Oh my god i'm sorry." She said shielding her eyes and shut the door. Scotty got off of Micah quickly and looked as she shut the door. He looked at Micah, "I should go." He said. "I'll talk to you later." He said as he grabbed his things and walked out the door and down the stairs. After he left Micah's mom looked at him, "Well then." She said, "I can't believe he's i mean oh wow.' SHe said. Bill walked in, "Wow what?" HE asked. Micah's mom, Emma looked at Bill, "Scotty kissed Micah." She said, covering her mouth. Bill looked at her for a moment, "Scotty no he's a guy's guy." He said. Emma laughed, "Yea and he's hoping Micah's the guy." She said. "I always that i had a pretty good gaydar but i never would have guessed Scotty." She said. Bill looked at her, "Yea this blows my mind." He said. Emma was sure Micah had gone upstairs at this point and didn't know he was listening at the top of the stairs. "Poor Micah he must have been so uncomfortable." She said. Bill looked at her, "on the other hand it's not everyday you get kissed by the captain of the basketball team." He said. Emma sighed, "What about Jack?" She said. Bill grabbed his phone, "Well at least we will have something in common kids we don't understand." He said. Emma nodded, "Yea but who knows when Jack will find out." She said. Bill nodded, "Hey Jack pick up. I guess you're not there anyway guess what." He said. Emma jumped up and grabbed the phone hanging it up, "ARe you insane! You can't leave him a message." She yelled Bill nodded, "You're right i should probably break it over a few beers." He said. Emma shook her head, "You can't tell him at all! He is so close to Scotty this could devastate him." She said. Bill sighed, "How can they be close when his son has this huge secret." He said. emma sighed, "This is Scotty's secret and he will tell his father on his own time." She said. Bill nodded, "Okay i won't tell him." He said.

Micah was surprised when Scotty climbed on top of him, but he went along with it. Honestly, he had never expected it to be like this between them - but he was also slightly happy that Scotty had started this. It felt good to kiss him and Micah kept his arms around him tightly, kissing him as deeply as Scotty was kissing him back. He had never imagined it feeling so good - but then again, he had always imagined that Scotty would be repulsed by the idea if he ever tried to kiss him. He couldn't believe that they were actually doing this.
But all too soon, the door was opened to his mother and he was blushing lightly, considering the position that Scotty was on top of him. There was no denying what they were doing - and apparently that scared Scotty. "No Scotty - wait!" He called for him, even tried to follow him down the stairs, but he was just too quick for him to catch up to while he was still dazed by what had just happened. Micah sat at the top of the stairs, listening to his parents talk about him. They probably thought that he had done something... That he made the first move - but he didn't! Now Scotty must really have thought he was a freak - and his parents thought he was "uncomfortable" too. Actually, he was just fine until his mother walked in!

Scotty of course managed to get out of going over the next time that his parents did. He felt like maybe he should just stay away for a bit. His dad sat with Bill as they watched the latest basketball game. Though Bill was trying his hardest not to blurt out anything about what had happened with his kid.

Micah was sad that Scotty didn't come for the next visit with his parents. They obviously needed to talk - but he wasn't going to force the issue with Scotty either. The last thing he wanted was Scotty to never talk to him again - though he didn't know if anything would ever be normal now that they had kissed like they had.

Scotty's dad took a sip of his beer as they talked about sports. Micah's mom sat with him and his friend Aaron for a bit and sighed. "You're father better not say anything." she said as she looked down at her drink.

Micah blushed at the very words. It was very embarrassing anyway that it was full knowledge that they had been full out making out on his bed. "Me too," he said softly though, hiding his face in his hands.

Scotty's dad sat there and looked at Bill, "So how did Scotty and Micah make out the other day?" He asked. Bill looked at him ,"What?"He asked loudly. John looked at him, "With the homework?"He asked. Bill sighed, "Oh well not well." He said. John looked at him, "Why not?"He asked.Bill sighed, "WEll you know they are different people. Scotty's and athlete and Micah's kind of nerdy." He said. John frowned, "Was Scotty mean to him because i know how these big shot basketball players can be and i don't want my son being like that." He said.
