"Well, that's good to know." Clarity said, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. Really, it wouldn't be a big deal if he didn't end up baking her any cookies, but it was nice to know that he didn't plan on going back on his word. Though she hardly knew him, there was something that told Clarity that she could just Harry. She didn't know why, she just got this feeling in her gut. She really didn't feel like she'd only known him for maybe twenty-four hours, if that. It felt longer than that. It was a nice feeling to say the least, one that she didn't come across very often.
The more time she spent with Harry, the more Clarity thought about that stupid feud. She didn't get it, she never had, but now that she was actually taking the time to get to know one of the greasers, she realized that maybe, just maybe, they weren't all as bad as everyone seemed to make them out to be. Harry certainly didn't seem like a bad person. He'd saved her arse the night before, and she could honestly say that she knew a couple of socs who wouldn't have even done something like that for her. "I don't get it." She finally just blurted out. "I don't get why we're supposed to hate each other."
Zayn chuckled slightly, giving his shoulders a slight shrug. That was a pretty accurate statement to say the least. "Yeah, I guess you could say that." He told her. He wasn't afraid to admit that he'd thought she was some sort of a boring wallflower. He figured that that would just make things easier on him in the long-run, but he was honestly glad that she didn't end up being like that at all. She was the exact opposite really, and he was very thankful for that fact. He would have been bored out of his mind if she ended up being one of those girls. He might've even given up on this whole plan of his if that were the case.
"Why?" He asked, quirking a brow in her direction. "Are you having second thoughts, Faye?" A devilish smirk tugged at the corners of her lips. Something told him that that wasn't the case at all. He'd be surprised if she really were backing out on him like this, she didn't seem like the type of person who would do so, though that didn't mean that he couldn't tease her about it. "I'd understand if you were. Some people just aren't cut out for stuff like this."
