A couple? Well it sure would make it easier for blackmailing purposes. We can make it to where, ones a guy, whom follows our male characters, and the others a girl who follows our female characters.

Sound about right?

A couple could definitely work, and it gives us more to work with in terms of people knowing people. It'd be a bit unusual for several seemingly unconnected people to suddenly get messages from one person so two people will allow the potential couple to cross a lot of interest areas (music, sport, that sort of thing).

No problem, I've been rushed off of my feet myself lately so I totally don't mind.

If were having a couple, we'd need to figure out who was blackmailing who. Would we have a girl blackmailing the girls or a guy? Same with the male. We also need to come up with a description for them and try and figure out how they do know everyone.

Perhaps the guy and girl blackmailer are people from the characters past? They could've been wronged by the characters in some type of way.
