I think that their could be a smaller plot intertwined with the romances or maybe a plot that sets off the romances? I'm stuck at the moment on any plot ideas

You guys have no idea how much I am excited about this story.

I'm currently search for my face claim but I've come to realise that I tend to favour brunettes over blondes, so I'm literally clueless as to who could be his face claim.

I kind of like the idea of Albus and Scorpius being mortal enemies, just because I think it'd be fun to write, but I'm also fine if they're going to be friends or even just acquaintances or something.

I think we should have a bigger plot, and it could even bring some of the romances together, jeopardise others and push some apart if we wanted.

That would probably help it connect better! Just something that it's all centered around? ill just list some ideas off the top of my head. I'm not promising they'll any good someone else might have a better idea.

1. Something revolving around quidditch? Maybe something with an ultimate house cup where our characters are pitted against each other.
2. Everyone getting ready for the end of term. They'll all have different things they have to deal with before the year is over like owls, being done with school, etc.
3. The Triwizard tournament or a different kind of tournament type thing that we create that's similar but different - a next gen specific thing.
4. Something involving a dance of some sort. An end of year dance or something like that? Big and important.
5. There's a corrupt teacher at Hogwarts and our characters investigate to try to figure out who it is. (This would probably have to make all of our characters friends in some way unless they were investigating separately or something? I don't know if it would make sense otherwise.
6. Someone is wreaking havoc around the school and after some of our characters get blamed they try to figure out who it really is. Maybe they all get detention for it and that's when they band together to find out?
7. I think that's all I've got

I'm suddenly in love with the Triwizard Tournament idea because all I can see is Yule Ball, drama, mischief, their families warning them because of what happened last time! But I'm also liking Katie's idea #6 because it would be hilarious!

I like that one too! I think it would be fun to write because you have a little bit of everything in it - action, drama, romance! The only bad thing, I think, would be that not everyone could compete in it if things stayed the same as they were originally, so it would leave some people out

Very true... We could change the entry age for the tournament but I don't know if its logical since Cedric died last time
Or we could do, like you said, have a similar tournament between the houses like in A Very Potter Musical (if you guys have seen it?) but obviously not as sarcastic and stupid as they did

Maybe it could be a whole new tournament with altered rules and such. I mean, it was really dangerous and they only brought it back the year that Harry did it, which led to the death of Cedric and the return of Voldemort, so either it could be a tournament just for the Hogwart houses, where there could be three people per house chosen to work in a team against the others, or it could be between the three wizarding schools and they alter the rules where there's a team from each school chosen and each has to face a challenge or something.

Okay I apologize, I just went totally MIA, haha! I had to catch up on everything and I really like the house tournament idea! It could be really interesting!
I also worked out the character profiles for Albus and for my original female character. Here's the one for Albus.

Rose doesn't care for Ian much. She sees him as her cousin's somewhat asshole friend and avoids him for the most part. They've come in contact more than enough times, and he always treats her the same way James does - with a joke or a prank. Rose has heard about Ian from her friends and doesn't much like what she's heard. She is flabbergasted at the fact that he is a prefect and is certain that it must have been some sort of a fluke.

Everything that Rose thinks she knows about him is tested as the story progresses, and she doesn't know what to think of him anymore. The more she learns about him and the closer they get, the more she likes him, especially when she gets to see the non-jokester side he has when James isn't around. She certainly doesn't want to express her feelings lest James and the rest of her family find out, and she has no idea what Ian really thinks of her.

Ahhh your characters though
And to be honest I'm debating between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. My original female character is going to be a Slytherin or a Ravenclaw, but I feel like Albus is so wise he can be in Ravenclaw but he's brave, courageous and friendly like a Gryffindor

Ahhh, that is a tough one! If you did him in gryffindor and her in slytherin that would definitely be some drama! Or if you had them both in Ravenclaw you could have them working on the tournament together! So many options
