Blake's mother sighed, "If only that were true," She said softly, reaching out an pressing a hand onto Daisy's upper arm, "But it's not. They're still after him... but I want you to know that you are safe. Blake will do anything to protect the one he loves... and he must love you very much to have married you."

Daisy was quiet for w moment before giving her a little smile. She wished that they didn't hsve to lie to his mother about the marriage. But it was needed so that she wouldn't have to marry his father. "I should go talk to Blake. I don't want us to be like this anymore." She told her softly.

Blake's mother frowned, "Like what?" Her eyes widened in worry as she turned Daisy to fully face her, "Did something else happen? Was someone hurt?"

"No...Well kind of. We just had a bit of a fight over this" Daisy told her softly. "And now I just want to go make up with him. I don't like being on bad terms with Blake." She said before taking a few steps away, wanting to leave and go find Blake.

Blake's mother smiled, "Then go. I'm sure he'll forgive you."

Blake had been working with some of the other Native men to cut up some firewood. He slammed the handmade axe, splitting a section or wood in one go. It helped to release some tension filled energy... but he still felt like he'd betrayed Daisy in some way...

Daisy gave her a small smile before she headed out of the tent. It didn't take her long to find out where Blake was. Though when she did find him she approached cautiously. After all he was wielding an axe-not that she thought he would do anything with it. "Blake?" She said softly.

Blake had just slammed his axe into the block, splitting another section before looking up, "Daisy?" he asked in surprise, standing up straight and setting the axe aside, "Is everything okay?" He assumed that the only reason she'd approach him now would be if she was hurt or someone was rude.

Daisy hesitated for a moment before suddenly moving up to him and wrapping her arms around him. She hugged Blake tightly as she laid her head against his chest. A word didn't come from her mouth as she just embraced him. Daisy felt bad about their confrontation but before apologizing she just wanted to hug him.

Blake froze as Daisy pressed against him. It took a few seconds before his arms wrapped around her as well. His head dropped a little closer to hers, "Daisy? Is everything okay? I don't..." He looked up and around them, noticing the Native's had left them alone, "Did someone say something to you?"

"I was told the whole story with you and the mayor and now it really makes sense." Daisy whispered as she buried her face into his chest a bit more. "I'm really sorry about everything that happened earlier. I wish this wouldn't have come up at all."

At her words Blake sighed, his body relaxing as he realized she hadn't been insulted or hurt by someone. His hands began running lightly along her back, "I wish it hadn't either, Daisy... but it's something I've been trying to out run for quite some time." He rested his head against hers, "But I'm sorry my past ended up affecting you."

"Now that I know the whole story I feel a lot better about it" Daisy told him as she held onto his shirt gently. It all made sense to her. And now instead of an act of revenge it was justice. He did it to save his future wife and to hopefully prevent him from coming back. Daisy stayed close to him, feeling much better now that they were okay again.

Blake held her close, his hands lightly caressing her back. He remained holding for a little longer in silence, before saying softly, "I'm still sorry," He swallowed, "We never married," He whispered, "She was never... ready. Never the same. I didn't want to push her... but I never gave up. I loved her... and I guess a part of me feels like I'm betraying her because of my feelings for you, but..." He looked down at her, "But I wouldn't change anything. I'm glad.... glad that we've had this time."

"I'm glad that we have too." Daisy said as she pulled back slightly. She looked up at him with gentle eyes. He was what she wanted there was no doubt about that at the moment. Daisy amiled at him softly. She leaned forward and pressing a small kiss to his cheek. She still likes him a lot.

Blake accepted her kiss with a small smile, his thumb brushing gently over her cheek bone, "I wish I could kiss you properly," he said softly, staring at her lips as his thumb moved down to trace them, "But I know I shouldn't."

"You should do it anyways." Daisy told him softly. She didn't want them holding back on these type of things. Sure for them to be together in the end would be difficult but she really liked him. As long as they didn't go too crazy with this before figuring it all out things should be fine.

Blake grinned, "Well... if you insist..." Then he leaned forward and lightly pressed his lips to hers. He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. The longer they were together the deeper he wanted to take the kiss... but she was still an innocent. Still something he can't truly touch. So after a few seconds he pulled away and gave her a smile, his thumb brushing her bottom lip once more, "You're hard to resist, Daisy. Very hard to resist."

Daisy smiled softly at him, her whole face seemed to light up a bit at his kiss. She only wanted to kiss him. Not go any farther than that and somehow he just knew that was all she wanted. Even when she wasn't sure what she was after. "Good."

Blake chuckled, "Good? You enjoy being irrisitable?" he tapped her nose with his finger, "You, my little Native in Training, are a minx." he pressed another light kiss to her lips

Daisy gently kissed him back but she was the first to pull away. "I think that it is a very good thing. Especially if you are the one who thinks that I am." She told him, giggling a little. She loved the way that Blake interacted with her: the way he touched her nose, her lips, the way he kissed her and looked at her.
