Ever since I was a kid I had this habit of talking to someone as if they were standing right in front of me carrying on full conversations sometimes. I'm 28 and I occasionally still do this though I've learned to control a good bit of it.

I did some research on this a while back and it's actually pretty normal as long as you only hear one voice at a time (something I've always had happen) I know talking to yourself can make you often seem strange but in certain instances can make you smarter.

I also know its linked to Schizophrenia but I also know it can occur with early childhood trauma (like your parents fighting as a baby or a terrorizing moment like being kidnapped.)

    whats your thoughts though?

Do you talk to yourself or do you imagine someone else is there and you are speaking to them? Either way, I don't see anything strange about it. I feel like a lot of people do it but aren't willing to admit it.

As long as you realize that you're having a conversation with yourself, then it should be fine. Schizophrenia comes in when the individual can no longer tell that they're the only person there.
