This Means War

Matthew watched as Zachary sat down with Holly and began to eat his breakfast. "You don't like my decision." He stated, practically feeling Zachary's doubt in him. He looked at his brother, "Well?" He said, loudly. He took a sip of his wine as he watched the two of them carefully. He watched as the servant put food on their plates, "That will be all." He said, dismissing the servant.

Holly smiled when he agreed to go to breakfast. She held his hand as they walked down then sat next to him. She watched as Matt began to question her love. She placed her hand on Zachary's thigh trying to keep him calm. It was often that they fought with each other but when Zachary and Matthew fought no one was safe. Not even her, Zachary had beaten her the one night just out of pure anger. So she hoped this wouldn't amount to anything.

Thorn

Sitting rather awkwardly in her seat as the women began touching up her hair and finishing, Thorn glanced at them through the mirror and even read the misery across their faces. Swallowing hard when she noticed a mark on their neck that looked like something with sharp teeth bit them, but was of course healed into a scar, Thorn felt like she needed to know what she would expect.

"Um...Can I ask you something?" she said, seeing the servants turn their attention to her, "Those marks on your neck...did he..bite you?"

"Yes," the brunette doing my hair said in all honesty, "He bit on all of us, fed from us, and even violated us against our every will. Master loves to play with his toys," she muttered, the sentence making me feel uneasy.

Zachary

"Yes...I don't like your decision," Zack said simply as he began eating the food on his plate, "I think keeping her is a horrible idea...but then again, I heard that the blood is the finest of them all and the sex with them is the most intense," Zack chuckled with a shrug, "And I'm not joking either. That's a good advantage...but she has powers beyond our control. I'm afraid...she will put all of our lives in danger."

Already getting halfway there to finishing his food, Zack tried to remain calm, somewhat more patient when Holly's hand rubbed against his thigh. He loved how he comforted her through the worst times...but some of those times can be dangerous to her safety.

Matthew glared at Zack, "Well you don't get to decide what is right or wrong so get over it." He said. He stood up then walked out of the room. "Enjoy your breakfast." He said stopping at Holly. He grabbed her arm, "Though you look awfully thirsty Zachary." He said as he grabbed a knife and cut up Holly's hand. "Well doesn't that smell yummy." He said as she squirmed in his grasp. His brother became very violent when he was exposed to blood. Matthew ran his tongue over Holly's hand then shove her to Zachary.

Holly let out a small gasp when Matthew grabbed her hand, "Ow." She said as he cut her hand. She looked at Zachary seeing his eyes melt to black. She frowned when she was shoved into him, "Please don't Zachary." She whispered, knowing it wouldn't really help.

Thorn

Being able to get her hair done and her makeup, the maids helped with getting the dress over Thorns head with ease. The Victorian ocean blue dress flared to her feet, making her smile lightly for being able to wear a beautiful dress for the first time. Slipping the shoes on, Thorn sighs and sits on the edge of the bed.

"Master will be in here shortly to see if you are qualified enough...among other things," the brunette muttered, making Thorn raise an eyebrow in wonder as they walked out.

Zack

Watching Matthew walk out the doors, Zack grabbed Holly's hand in a vice like grip, a sneer stretching on his lips, "You don't tell me what to do. When I'm thirsty, I will feed from you whenever I want to. You don't have the say to the matter."

Forcing her hand in front of his face, Zack gently ran his tongue over the wound to calm the bleeding. Feeling Holly shiver, Zack smirked and bit into Holly's wrist, taking and savoring large gulps but not too much where she would pass out.

Matthew smirked as he heard Holly let out a small scream, then walked to his bedroom. He swung the door open, "Sorry i'm late i had a weak willed individual to deal with." He said. He shut the door, locking it. "Well don't you look gorgeous." He said as he let his fingers touch her cheek. He could smell the blood that pumped through her veins and it excited him. "Are you enjoying yourself?" He said asked as he pulled her up from the bed. "If no i suppose i could make this experience a little more exciting for you." He said.

Holly let out a small scream as he bit into her wrists. No matter how many times he did that it hurt a lot more. Holly closed her eyes as she tried to relax her body. She placed her free hand on his shoulder, feeling him sucking the blood from her veins.

Thorn

Flinching slightly at his touch, Thorn felt more concerned when he locked the door, but yet refused to show any expression of pure fright in order to maintain her identity as a strong sorceress. Matthew gently forced her on her feet from sitting on the edge of the bed, his eyes becoming a bit darker when Thorn looked more carefully. The hazel in his eyes weren't as bright anymore.

"I'm not excited with any of this," she said bluntly, trying to avoid glaring up at him, "Nothing you do will ever excite me," she nearly growled out before using her "telepathic" form of powers to push him away a good few feet, not even thinking twice if it was a good idea or not.

Zack

Even though I had her for such a long time, the blood that goes through her is still as delicious as ever, Zack thought with a hum of approval against her open wounds.

Using his tongue over the wound, Zack waits to pull away until the blood has stopped oozing from the teeth marks he scarred into her skin. Zack gently wiped his mouth of the remains with the back of his hand, not even acknowledging any sympathy, "Now eat. I need you to be well fed today. I have noticed how you have been barely eating lately. I don't like that," he warned before going to his meal.

Matthew glared at her when she pushed him away. He walked over grabbing her by her neck and began to squeeze, "Let's get one tings straight, I am the one in charge and i can snap your neck if i want to. So if you want to live and you want your family and friends to live you will do as i say. Do you understand?" He growled as she shoved her onto the bed. "i don't understand why people are so interested in trying to get rid of us. We are making this place much better." He snapped.

A few hours later, Matthew walked down the halls with Thorn to the ballroom. He walked in with her then had her chained to a spot on the floor next to his throne, "Don't take it personal i just don't trust you yet." He said as he sat and watched the people file in.

Holly nodded when he told her to eat, "Okay." She replied. She sat next to him again and ate her food, not really saying much. Holly finished her food then watched as the servant cleaned up her plate. She stood to her feet, looking over at Zack, "I'm going to the bedroom." She said. She walked out of the dining hall and went to the bedroom. In a few hours se was going to watched Matthew do something incredibly stupid.

She waited a few hours before getting dressed. She walked out of the room and stopped behind one of the pillars, hearing Zack and Haner talking about how Matthew was going to have the girl's people killed anyway in front of her as soon as she gave up her soul. She bit her bottom lip lightly when Zack saw her and his eyes narrowed, knowing that she shouldn't be listening.

Thorn

Nothing personal my ass, you fucked up bastard, Thorn thought coldly of Matthew's words as she tried to remain comfortable in her seat next to Matthew's throne, the chain on her ankle a bit uncomfortable and cold.

Tapping her fingers against the arm of the chair, Thorn sighed and could tell that Matthew was glancing at her every moment or so by the corner of her eye. The people of high class in the kingdom crowded up in the area, their eyes and whispers directing towards Thorn as they conversed with their partners and family.

Something tells me that this is not going to go as I thought it would be... Thorn swallowed hard at the thought.

Zack

"Alright bring them here," Zack yelled out to the guards down the hall that held the prisoners, who turned out to be the closest of friends to Thorn.

Zack, Haner, and Holly were standing outside of the ballroom area in a enclosed room of dark stone, the place where they prepare guests and even prisoners to face the King himself. This room was always a worst fear to many because of it's bad omen that is brought upon them and what they would face in the nick of time. The four prisoners with bags over their heads and limbs chained together were dragged towards Haner and Zack, with Haner revealing a dark smirk.

"She is going to be completely broken when we get rid of these pieces of filth in front of her," Haner chuckled.

Matthew smirked, as everyone went quit, "I have a surprise for my guest tonight." He said, motioning towards Thorn as he stood. He walked behind her as the prisoners were led in, "Not only am i going to steal your soul, i'm going to crush it first." He said so only she could hear. He had a dark sorcerer in the room in case she tried anything. "Zachary do me the honors." He said, motioning for him to pull the covers off their heads. He smirked as Thorn begged for their lives and as did the prisoners. "Dispose of the trash!" He ordered them. He looked at Thorn as each one of the people she loved were killed. His laughter filled the room along with others. He grabbed Thorn's chin, "No where were we." He said as he began to suck the soul from her body.

Holly frowned as she stood in the back, leaning against the pillar, watching as all of this took place. She placed her hand on the pillar as Zacky ripped a man's head off with his hands. Holly watched as the room went silent then as the voices filled the room once Thorn has been stripped of her soul. Holly heard the party start again and grabbed something small to eat off the table she was near. She ate it then continued to hang around in the back, because she didn't care for these parties.

Thorn

Having her soul getting ripped out of her was as if it was like her insides were being ripped out by Matthew's own hands. When Thorn fell to the floor when it ended, Matthew told everyone to carry on until she got up again. But what he didn't realize...was that there was more to Thorn's own soul that meets the eye. Her soul is made of layers of power...meaning she is still there...but is beneath a layer of darkness that is now unleashed.

Clenching her fists while resting on her knees and her body hunched over, the lights of the entire ballroom darkened into blackness, causing the party to let out commotion of fear. With a loud rumble, rocks in the shape of sharp spikes bursted out of the ground throughout the room, causing people to fly back away in fear of the uncontrollable energy that was surrounding Thorn's dark powers.

A large crimson red flame covered Thorn's body, preventing anyone from touching her. The flame did not affect her at all...but would burn those who put a finger on her skin.

Zack

Goddammit, Matthew, why couldn't you listen to me! Zack yelled in his thoughts.

"Get the crowd out of here, it's too dangerous," Zack yelled out to the guards, watching them nod without hesitation and help the people get out of the ballroom before more damage or injury began to spread. Looking back at Thorn's body that was shielded in red flame, Zack cautiously went beside Matthew, who was staring at her in wonder.

"What the hell do we do?" Zack whispered harshly to the King, "I told you this was a bad idea!"

Matthew looked at Zachary, "We wait." He said, smirking. "Don't worry i got this under control so you relax." He said. He watched as the girl engulfed herself in flames and then stepped back as his sorcerer approached her. "If she becomes to dangerous I will just have her killed." He explained to Zack,"You worry too much little brother this is why i'm king and you are beneath me." He said, in a cocky tone.

Holly's eyes widened as she watched the flames emerge. She relaxed though, taking a sip of her wine that was mixed with blood. She looked around as the people fled then finished her drink, "You're really dumb!" She yelled drunkenly to Matthew. "Like seriously you didn't see this coming?" She asked as she motioned to the girl. She rolled her eyes as Matthew demanded for her to be escorted out, "Don't touch me." She snapped at the guy that went to touch her, shoving him, causing him to slide across the floor. "Bye." She said, bowing sarcastically and walked out of the room.

Thorn

Thorn mindlessly walked towards him, her head facing the ground while she took one gentle step at a time. The soldiers around her made way for her to come through, not daring to mess with the state she was in now. Thorn didn't even have the consciousness to even talk or go against Matthew. Her mind was thoughtless and her body walked as if there was no life left in it.

Standing in the middle of a large stoned hallway while guards watched her cautiously, along with the King near her, the red flames around Thorn slowly vanished...but transformed her blue dress into a menacing appearance. A black cloak with the end of it dragging on the floor in the patterns of pyramid-arches (like a bat's wing) hung against her now blood red dress that formed a laced corset on her upper body. Very small dragon-like horns were slightly poking through her red-and-black hair, making her reveal a more darker side than anyone could imagine. Thorn stood there in silence, waiting to be escorted wherever.

Zack

"Holly," Zack called out to his lover, immediately catching up to her stumbling walk back to the bedroom, "Holly, easy there. You need to easy it up there...especially after some of the wine," Zack breathed, his arm going around her waist as he walked her to their room to rest this horrific night away.

Gently letting her sit on the bed to let himself change out of his clothes, Zack let out an aggravated sigh, "Trust me, I think Matthew has lost his mind. That girl is nothing but dangerous...and knowing that he took her soul, the good part that is,...things are going to get ugly... I have a feeling that this could lead to the dark end to this kingdom, as horrific and painful as it sounds," he shook his head, his body now fully nude from clothes torn away from him.

Matthew watched as she stood and smirked at her new appearance. He enjoyed the fact that he had made the next queen to help rule his kingdom, "How are you feeling love?" He asked as he watched her for a moment. He never expected her to become so powerful and evil. Though he was not going to complain about it because it was exactly what he wanted.

Holly walked with him to the room, then unzipped her dress, kicking off her heels. She removed her clothes, watching Zack took off his. "What will happen then" She asked as she laid down on the bed, pulling the covers over herself. She didn't know what would happen if the kingdom was destroyed. What if Zack were to be killed then she would have nothing and wouldn't know what to do.

Thorn knew she could hear him in the background...but her new self was too caught up in the transformation to even care about the conversing with others around her.

"Bed..." she muttered, slowly walking towards the direction of Matthew's bedroom, "Rest..." she whispered.

Having the guards finally backing off and walking away to leave Matthew and Thorn alone, Thorn walked silently into the bedroom and stood facing the bed. Hearing Matthew close the door and remove his crown, Thorn's red flame morphed her royal outfit into a very soft but thin black night gown that flared just below her knees. Slipping into the covers, she immediately slept without saying a single word to the King himself.



Thorn opened her eyes from a dreamless sleep, the transformation at it's full result. She stretched her arms lightly and smiled, a soft delicate part of her missing from her heart that was replaced with something more malevolent but seductive. Thorn smirked lightly when she felt the King's arm over her waist and stir in his sleep.

Zack

Yawning himself awake with Holly snuggling against his chest as naked as he is, Zack smiled down at her as his fingers gently stroked her hair in a delicate motion. But a frown immediately formed on his face when he realized what happened last night.

Is Thorn more controlled now? Or is my brother dead?, Zack thought while swallowing hard in slight fear.

Shaking the ridiculous thought out of his head, Zack bent his head down and kissed Holly's lips, "Morning, my love.."

Matthew slept silently, holding Thorn in his strong arms. He opened his eyes when he felt her move, "Morning." He said, looking at her. She looked different compared to the night before and he felt like this could actually work. He sat up then stood and began to get dressed. He put his crown on then looked at himself in the mirror,seeing her behind him on the bed.

Holly looked at him, "Morning." She whispered. She snuggled into him a little more, "Let's not get up." She said as she ran her hand up his sides. Holly ran her fingers through her hair then buried her face in his chest again. "I just wanna lay here forever." She said.She didn't want to see what was going to happen now that there was something horrible happening.

Thorn watched with a cautious eye as her King got out of bed and got ready for the day. The dark mistress within her was now in full control. Now she was wanting anything right now, including when she can have her first sexual encounter that will break her means of being a virgin until marriage or vows, "Come here..." she ordered in a very soft elegant tone.

Watching Matthew turn around with a slightly raised eyebrow, Thorn smiled as he approached her and knelt down to have eye level, "Yes?"

"You need your good luck charm..." she whispered, her face showing no emotion once her smile faded.

Without having Matthew answer, she pressed the most gentlest of a kiss upon his plump lips, knowing that the fire of lust was bolting through him like electricity by the most simplest of a soft kiss. Being kissed by a dark sorceress is considered deadly, especially when you get addicted immediately to her touch and would nearly go insane when she refuses the bidding of company or a "lover's" hand.

"I wish I could," Zack chuckled, his hands gently raking down her soft blonde hair, "I can lay for a little while. Matthew can suck it up for all I care," he grinned.

Gently bringing her face to his, Zack seduced her lovingly into a passionate kiss against her pink lips, his tongue immediately finding entrance into her warm sweet mouth. His tongue explored her wet cavern, gently grazing over her teeth as a moan vibrated against his lips from hers. The kiss was what their love was made of, along with how his hands grasped on to her as if he never wanted to let go of her beautiful form.

Matthew smirked as he walked over to her then kissed her deeply. He placed his hands on her cheeks, kissing her roughly as he pulled her body closer to his. He smirked as his let his hand move up his side then kissed down her neck. He kissed down her neck, his hand finding it's way up her nightgown. Matthew could feel the warmth of her skin and it made him really happy.

Holly moaned as she kissed him back and let her hands move down his back. She pulled away slowly looking into his eyes, "I don't ever want to lose you." She whispered as she let her hands rest on his cheeks. She knew he could be evil but she loved that part of him. She loved every part of him and she couldn't imagine herself with anyone else.

Thorn couldn't help the soft moan that emitted from her lips when Matt's lips made it to her neck, her neck arching back in wanting of him to continue. But once she felt his sharpened teeth on the skin of her neck and his hand made it to her bare ass, Thorn smirked and used her own power to get him to stop by grabbing his hand and moving her head away.

"Later...you can continue further...if I wish it," Thorn said, the smile slowly leaving her face as she got out of bed with Matt trying to catch his breath.

The red flame morphed her nightgown into the gothic corset-dress she wore yesterday night with the menacing black cloak to go along with it, "You have business to do, my king," she muttered before heading out.

Listening to her words that were said straight from her corrupted heart, Zack smiled down at her eyes and cupped her face with ease, "You will never lose me... Even if I do go somewhere one day, that powerful part of me will remain with you forever until you join me."

Holding her close against his chest, Zack kissed her forehead and stroked her bare back of smooth, pale skin, "But don't think about that... Enjoy what we have for each other now.."

Matthew frowned as she got up then stood. He shook his head at the weird feeling his had then made his way to the throne room. Matthew took a seat in his chair as he gave the orders to burn another village to the ground. "I want this kingdom to not possess a single glimmer of hope!" He yelled, his voice booming through the throne room. He didn't want anyone to think that there was a chance of good to come through.

Holly nodded, "Okay." She whispered. She relaxed with him for a bit, but sighed when she heard a knock at the door and Haner saying Zack's name. "Prince Zachary, the king wishes to see you in the throne room." He said, before leaving. Holly pouted as Zack when to get up, "You really gotta go?" She asked. She was sad that he would be leaving her, but knew she should probably go too. She sat up, looking at him as he got ready.

Zack

"Yeah," Zack sighed, getting dressed rather in a hurry before heading towards the door, "I'll meet you up later...at dinner, okay?" he smiled, giving her a peck on the lips before leaving the room.

"We have no time for cuddling, Zack," Haner growled, making Zack roll his eyes as the two of them headed to the throne room, "The hell does he want?"

"Who knows," Haner shrugged, "But he sure seems agitated. I wonder if that hot dark sorceress has something to do with it," he grinned wickedly.

Zack raised an eyebrow, "You really have the hots for her now?"

"Well since she turned evil, why not," he shrugged, not caring about thinking of "stealing" the King's mistress.

Thorn

Thorn quietly made her way to the stables that connected to the castle walls, smiling lightly when she sees her good dragon friend, Blackheart. You see, whenever Thorn changes, the dragon changes as well. It has a pure connection to Thorn and will do anything to protect her and lead her on.

"Hello my good friend," Thorn cooed as she gently pressed her palm to the dragon's scaly head, hearing it purr in delight along with a dog-like whine of need, "I know, I know...you miss me, huh?"

The dragon nodded slowly, it's eyes staring directly at Thorn's before she spoke again, "You will have more free time, my companion...trust me. Wait until the fun starts."

Thorn heard footsteps coming down the steps, knowing that it was someone who followed her in the nick of time: Holly.
