Forgive Me

Rachael sat in the class, chipping away the bright green nail polish that was on her nails. She was beyond bored and of course to make things even more tedious and annoying the teacher announced they would be divided up into assigned groups of two. She listened to peoples names being called out, rolling her eyes as people complained about their partners. Thats whem she heard her name and Sarah Ellison's being called.

Rachael sat up in her chair, glaring at the teacher. Everyone in the school knew the girls pretty much hated each other. "You can just give me an F on the assignment now," she stated. "I'm not working with her."

Sarah turned and narrowed her eyes at Rachael. "Do you have a problem?" she snapped. She sighed when the teacher scolded them and told them that if they didn't work on the assignment together that they would both get a zero. She knew Rachael was willing to get an F, but she definitely wasn't. She was honor roll and one F would certainly bring her grade down, especially since it was a project and those were like 30% of your grade. She turned and looked at Rachael, sighing heavily. "I'm not getting a zero, so you better meet me after school, okay?" she warned her, sitting back in her seat and crossing her arms over her chest. What a way to ruin her day, stupid Mrs. Wilson.

Rachael narrowed her eyes at Sarah, walking out of the classroom with her stuff. She was completely and utterly pissed. Mrs. Wilson had fucked her over yet again. She really needed to make sure not to piss off anymore teachers.

Sarah left when the bell rang, looking around for Rachael. She spotted her and walked over, biting her lip as she approached her. "I want to get this project over with so meet me by the front doors at two, and we'll go to my house so we can start working on it," she said.

Rachael rolled her eyes. She hated when people tried to boss her around. She glared at Sarah and flipped her off. "I'll think about but a word of caution stop bossing me around or I'll make you regret it."

Rachael walked away, continuing the rest of her day as normal.

Sarah rolled her eyes and went to her next class. After school had ended, she grabbed her things from her locker and headed to the front door, biting her lip anxiously as she waited for Rachael, looking around to see if she was coming or not. If not, then she guessed she would have to just do this thing on her own. And then she would probably end up having to put Rachael's name on it because the other girl was just that lazy.

Rachael walked over to where she spotted Sarah. She stood next to the blonde, the look on her face obvious that she wasn't happy at all. The brunette pulled her hair into a messy bun with a hair tie she had on her wrist. "So are we doing this or what," she snapped.

Sarah narrowed her eyes at her. "Look, I don't want to do this anymore than you, okay? Just cooperate with me and we'll finish this as soon as possible and then we won't have to talk again. Deal?" she asked.

Rachael nodded. "Deal," she replied. "Now let's get this over with."

Sarah sighed and led her out to her car, getting in and starting it. She really didn't want to invite Rachael into her home, knowing that if her parents were to meet her, they'd both have a heart attack. They weren't into the whole bad chick thing.

Rachael smirked when she realized she'd be in Sarah's home. It would definitely be fun to piss off her parents and embarass Sarah. "So do mommy and daddy know miss goody two shoes is bringing home the town trouble maker? Or will I get the pleasure of seeing them shit bricks when we show up?"

Sarah glared at her. "Thankfully, my parents are at work, but my sister will be there, and I don't want you talking to her," she said. "She's really fucked up and she doesn't need you making it worse."

Rachael smirked. "Oh trust me your sister talking to me won't damage her anymore than being related to you or your parents have." She moved her bangs out of her face and looked at Sarah. "In fact I bet I'd be better for her than you fakes are."

Sarah bit her tongue and gripped the steering wheel. "You don't talk about my sister like that, you understand?" she snapped. "You can harass me and insult me all you want, but you leave my sister alone."

Rachael couldn't help the smirk that formed on her lips at Sarah's words. "So you do have a spine," she mused. "I'm impressed."

Sarah rolled her eyes as she pulled into her driveway. "Whatever," she mumbled, parking and getting out, grabbing her book bag. "Come on."

Rachael grabbed her messenger bag and followed Sarah. She looked at the outside of the house and started wishing the project was over already.

Sarah led Rachael inside, kicking her shoes off. "Shoes off," she said, shutting the door behind Rachael.

Rachael kicked her shoes off, letting them land on top of Sarah's. "So princess can we get this over with already?"
