He looked shocked and then looked around then laughed nervously, "I..abstaining? I mean.. if you don't I won't make you I just..sex is really nice is all I.." his cheeks burnt and he hated himself for it.

She nodded,"Thats good for us though, she is beautiful and smart already,"

She smirked teasingly at his reaction. "That's what I thought. I don't think it's something you would want to abstain from. Though I have heard of preventative measures to avoid childbirth, it happens if it happens. Especially since by being with me, you're making many sacrifices. Considering your reaction, I think taking sex away as well would just be cruel." She said, half teasing him.

He came over with bowls of food, setting one down for her and beginning to eat out of his. "That is good for us, she may be a handful though. Like her mother." He teased. "A beautiful handful though."

He laughed again and nodded, "I don't expect anything from you except honestly, loyalty and to trust me, I'd never do anything you didn't want me to or force you to do anything you didn't want," he told her softly.

"How am I a handful, you're the one who couldn't keep your hands off me in the barn," she murmured teasingly.

"Sex is a part of marriage, I'm told. And you want to marry me, despite my confusion on why. Considering your reaction, I doubt it's something that most people can easily go without. Especially around people they are attracted to. I will be honest with you, I will be loyal to you, and I will trust you. I don't think you would be forcing me to have sex if I enjoyed it." She said more to herself. "Though I'm not supposed to enjoy it at all, let alone be having this conversation with a man no doubt."

He laughed a little. "Have you seen yourself? How could I not have? I'm the luckiest man on the planet. A beautiful wife, and daughter."

"I'm just saying, that I don't want you to feel like you have to do anything, I will marry you - I know you're it for me so thats not a problem, just wanting you to be happy," he said to her smiling a little then sighed a little.

She smiled a little, "I miss those days sometimes, just kissing you in your barn or that one time you got a little carried away," she said smirking at him.

"If my father didn't already think I was dead, he surely would have killed me by now." She smiled a little. "When do you want me to move in?"

He smiled a little. "If you want to fool around in the barn, we can. I don't mind it. It was riskier then."

She nodded, "It really was risky, but I liked it - being with you, you had a lot of self restraint didnt you, well now you dont have to," she laughed a bit then motioned for him to come here. "Once I'm healed and have a little time one our hands I'd like to,"

"As soon as possible, how about tomorrow? I know you might want to spend time with Marissa and the new baby," he said to her.

She nodded. "That's fine. Though it's fortunate you live close, and its a short ride on horseback."

"Your wish is my command, Lady Marissa." He said, kissing her face and taking another bite. "Any time."

She giggled a little as she looked at him then sighed, "I think she's done eating," she murmured as she detached then wrapped her in a blanket setting her in her basket next to her on the bed.

He nodded a little,"I do, it's less then fifteen minutes by horse - we'll be fine,"

She nodded a little and thought to herself for a second. "Would...it be improper to invite you to stay the night?" She asked curiously. "I know our situation is a bit different than most."

He picked her up, smiling at the baby. "She's all pink. And sleepy." He murmured softly.

"I don't think it would," he said to her shrugging a little, "Besides we're just sleeping."

"She really is, it's adorable," she said as she picked up her bowl and began to eat, "What do you think she'll be like when she's older,"

She nodded. "Well I don't doubt that I would be sleeping in your bed once I arrived at your home. But you may want to be a bit more forward with me. If i become uncomfortable, I will let you know. But if we want to get anywhere, I should start moving faster."

"She will be beautiful and smart, probably talented. Sweet, and kind. Everything her mother is." He said thoughtfully.

She smiled a little and kissed his shoulder,"I love you more than anything," she murmured.

He smiled, "If thats what you want,"he said softly kissing her cheek affectionately.

She nodded a little and smiled. "If we are to be married, I should get used to intimacy. Especially since my future husband loves sex so much." She laughed, shaking her head once more at his reaction.

"Not nearly as much as i love you." He smiled at her, kissing her lips.

"I'm not an addict or anything but, I have enjoyed it on occasion," he said to her shrugging a little.

She kissed him back softly, "Hm, you're good to me,"

She nodded. "I know you aren't. I'm just teasing you." She said, stretching her arms above her head. "I will not lie to you, however... That does bother me a bit." She said to him softly.

He kissed her repeatedly. "I try," He said softly. "I'm so lucky."

"It does?" he said as he looked at her, "Can I ask why?"

She smiled a little and giggled kissing him back, then continued eating her food.

She nodded and sighed. "I have always hated the fact that men werent held to the same standards of women in terms of sex. As a woman, I must stay pure and know nothing about it, however somehow be exceptionally good at pleasing my husband... While whoever I marry may have had numerous partners before me, and may continue to have them after me." She explained softly. "Not you I don't trust specifically. I don't trust love, I've always just expected to be slighted."

He finished his food and picked up their daughter, watching her sleep. "I'm going to do everything for you both. I want you to have everything. I just wish I could provide more."

"You're perfect, Yixing - you're going to be an amazing father," she said to him smiling a little as she looked at him then rubbed the back of her neck,"I'm going to try and nap before she wakes again, are you good?"

"Well highborn women have a lot more expected of them, low born women don't worry so much about virtue," he said to her honestly as he smiled a little, "I know it's not fair and I actually think it's outdated but you don't have to worry about that here, people don't ask those kinds of questions unless the father of the daughter is particularly worried about it,"

"I'll be fine," He smiled at her and looked at their daughter. "Just rest. Ill sleep with you in a bit."

She sighed. "It's something that I have always hated passionately. More highborn men than lowborn. They take advantage of it. And I had to just wait and remain pure. Marissa had Yixing to fool around in the barns with, but again. He was lowborn, and wouldn't take advantage of her."
