Love?

Looking out the window on the way to the train station was Bella's favorite thing to do. She listened to her dad go on and on about how she should be careful and that if she needed anything to call right away. She sighed and said, "Dad!" She pushed her red hair from her face, having one or two freckles on her face. She then said, "I'm going to be fine!" They made it there, and she looked around be hugging her dad and kissing him goodbye. She sighed, her blue eyes almost tearful. She then went through the column when no one was watching, going towards the Hogwarts Express. She hoped to see familiar faces soon.

Sighing as he said goodbye to his clingy mother, Blaise gave her a kiss on the cheek and a tight hug. "I love you too, mum." He told her, and had his bags in his hands. "Bye mum." He told her as he went through the column in order to get to the Hogwarts Express. He smiled, seeing all the kids around him fretting about getting on the train. He got on, putting his bags in the packing area. As he arrived on the bus, looking through the compartments he saw Draco and gave him a swift nod as he sat down in a seat nearest to the window.

Draco's mother and he had apparated to Platform Nine and Three Quarters, their goodbyes were exchanged at the manor. His mother's warm enbrace was something he would always miss. Since his entire life was filled with cold and ruthlessness, the smallest embraces they share were always held close to his heart. Her depature was almost as fast as her arrival, left standing alone on the platform he decided to make his way to his compartment.

Skylar took in her surroundings as she walked, the pervious night her parents dumped her off into a muggle establishment. Her stay was only because neither of them could ensure she would get to school. So dropping her off at the motel, a few blocks from Kings Cross, was the best idea they could come up with. So here she was walking her way to the station, the only good thing being was she'd mananged to get her mother to enchante her bag. So now all over her belongings were tucked into the bag on her back and it was as light as a feather. Sighing out in relief when her feet meet the concerte inside the station, knowing she wasn't going to miss the train. The only problem was working her was through the masses of peopleto get to the right platform.

Bella sighed as she curled into a ball in a compartment, not knowing much else to do. She curled up closely to her sweater, having not changed into her robes yet. She stretched in the seat gently, knowing she wouldn't be able to until a little while. She smiled seeing all the parents outside saying goodbye to their children. She saw Skylar and smiled, waving hoping she would see her. She seemed to be her best friend here. She had missed her over break. Irritated, she kept having to push her hair out of her brilliant eyes. (I hope it's okay that they are already friends, if not I'll change my post?)

Blaise yawned softly, hoping he could could something to eat soon. Having not eaten before he had left the house, he was pretty hungry. He had already switched into his Slytherine clothes before he had gotten on the train. He didn't mind them, after having to wear them every day, besides weekends of course, he was used to the feel of them. He hated to admit it, but he had even missed the robes while on vacation. That possibly sounded crazy, but hey, it was the truth. He closed his eyes, relaxing in the seat.

Draco's eyes wandered around the platform, shaking his head before turning in his seat. He didn't even know why he bothered, no body out there was even remotely worthy of his attention. Sighing he leaned back into his seat, "have a good vacation mate?" He asked Blaise since he'd been the only one to join him.

Skylar's hazels eyes turned dark as she started to get frustated, she'd been in a bad mood, well most of the break and it still hadn't lifted. Now all the people crowding her just made it that much worse, she didn't remember the platform this crowded last year. Huffing she knew she wasn't going to get on with out a fight, so she just started shoving people out of her way. Rudeness was a strong suit of her's. The sorting hat had had a hard time sorting her into houses, it's first pick for her was Slytherin, like all her family. But when it got wind of her cunniness, it picked Ravenclaw. She always heard kids saying how the hat talked to them and even considered there choice odf a house. But she put her faith whole heartly in the hat and he place her in Ravenclaw. Smiling upon reaching the compartment Bella was in, "bloody hell," he huffed sitting down on the bench. "Is it just me or is there even more people here." She gasped out.

Blaise could practically hear the wheels turning in Draco's head. He hummed as he sat there. He opened his brown eyes to look over at Draco hearing his question. He made a face and said, "Mainly my mum wanting to spend as much time as she could with me. What about you?" He asked him raising an eyebrow at him. He noticed no one was there, and wondered why. He shrugged it off.

Bella's eyes widened as Skylar joined her with saying, "Bloody hell." She then said, "Woah, Sky, what's got you in such a huff?" She wondered. She knew it wasn't just from the people. Hearing her she laughed and said, "Well, I mean, there are a lot of first year's." She said. She came from the middle of Scotland. She wasn't British, but Scottish. She was proud too. She didn't have a wizard in her family, aside from her mum. Her mum had died when she had been three though, so she didn't remember her much at all. She tilted her head at Skylar, and smiled. She was happy that she had gotten in Ravenclaw as well. Bella was rather witty, and very shy though. She didn't like many people. She tried to keep to herself. She loved drawing however. She stretched, and then murmured, "I've got to change into my robes here soon." She wasn't talking to anyone really.

Draco chuckled bitterly, "same." His father didn't seem to want anything to do with his family since the Dark Lord had yet agian risin. "What's taking so damn long, it's not like this filth should even be allowed into Hogwarts." He growled, though lately he hadn't really cared about people. He'd be a little bit preoccupied by his own thoughts to worry about the other. "Drakie!" He heard being shouted. A groan leaving his lips as he hung his head, "kill me now." He pleaded to his friend.

Skylar rolled her eyes, "the trian hasn't even left the station." She scoffed at her friend. The ride to Hogwarts took all day, they'd leave after breakfast and arrive right at dinner time. Shaking her head she layed down in the seat, her small body curled up managing to fit. "Wake me when we get close." She told her friend closing her eyes, she didn't sleep very good on those blasted muggle beds.

Blaise laughed and nodded in agreement. "Sorry mate." He said to him, sympathetically. He then said, "First years need to get on. Chill man. It'll be alright." He said to him. He gave him a small grin. He stretched a little bit. Everyone had heard Harry's story about He Who Must Not Be Named, but he didn't care. If the guy attacked, he attacked, otherwise Blaise wanted a normal school life, as in wizardry. He laughed softly hearing the girl, and busted out laughing harder at him pleading. He locked the compartment door, before the girl could get in and said, "Sorry. Guys only today." he charmed the door so she couldn't get in. He sat back down after that.

Bella laughed and said, "Well, I don't want to do it later, what would be the point of that?" She asked her. She smiled softly. She didn't mind the ride, she actually enjoyed it. She got to watch all the settings all different, and all easy to draw with charcol. She smiled hearing Skylar. She nodded and said, "Alright. She pulled out her music, and her sketch book, looking at Skylar. Slowly, she began to draw her friend.

Draco silently thanked his friend, before turning and shrugging to a now pouting Pansy. "Sorry, Blaise is feeling a bit aggitated." He told her, before smirking over at his friend. "Thank you so much." He gushed once Pansy had stormed off. His hand moved through his hair, brushing it back trying to relax. He didn't understand why he felt so on edge, though he had been hoping to she a mass of bright red hair. Granted when he thought of red hair he tought of the blood traitor Wealseys. But this was a different kind of red, she was beautiful but the sad thing was he didn't know her name, hell he didn't even know what house she was in. Their run in laast year hadn't been a pleasent one nor bad. It was on the train back home, he'd just exited the compartment to escape Pansy when he clashed into a small red headed girl. She stared at him in terror, while he was completely stunded. It wasn't until Pansy poked her head out the door and started yelling at the girl did either move. She quickly scurried away from him.

Skylar laid there for awhile, he body long having relaxed. It wa sjust her mind was wide awake. "I can feel your eyes on me." She said to who ever was standing in the door way of the compartment. Her eyes fluttering open, Bella was lost in her own world. "What do you want?" She snapped at Pansy. "I was mearly looking for a compartment." She snooted, "but I see this one is taken by trash." She scoffed turning to leave. "Oh what did your percious Draco kick you to the curb?" She.scoffed knowing she was hitting Pansy buttons. "Remind me to congratulate him, for finally growning a brain."

Blaise made a face and sat back down to pretend like he was agitated. He hated Pansy. She was a pain. Ha. Funny. Sighing, he ran a hand through his hair. "You're welcome, that girl irritates me." he said rolling his eyes. "She acts like you're the most amazing thing in the world. She's just kissing ass and it irritates me." He muttered. He sighed, as he ran a hand through his hair. He noticed Draco in his own world, kind of dazed. He noticed the look on his face and then burst into a grin. "Dude, no way." He told him laughing. "What's got your mind going hay wire ?" He asked, smirking softly. "Or should I say who?" He raised an eyebrow. Draco's body language and the look of peace on his face said it all. He smiled softly, glad for his friend.

Hearing voices after awhile, Bella looked up. She took her earbuds out, and saw Pansy and paled. She then looked down again hiding her face. She heard Pansy call them trash and winced. "Go away, already." She whispered. She didn't like conflict, nor did she like Pansy. Especially since Pansy had screamed at her last year from running into Draco. She looked away, and curled up further. She heard Skylar and smiled. She knew Draco, but she had only met him last year really. She hadn't meant to. She hadn't even known he was there, until they had run into each other.

Blaise's word knocked Draco out of his thougts. "Uh." He bit his lip, before sighed. "You can't laugh." He told him, "but I don't know her." He sighed out, rubbing the back of his neck. He was embarrased to say the least, but really it wasn't his fault the girl had evaided him since they'd arrived at Hogwarts. He knew Blaise would want to know who she was, so he told him all about it.

Pansy's face redden hearing Bella's words, but she really got mad listening to Skylar. "Why don't you leave before I hex you." She threatened, pulling her wand. In all her time at Hogwarts she'd never seen Pansy speachless, nor so scared. Granted she'd scared her a time or two, but Pansy was a flock bird, with out her flock she was nothing. "What was all that about?" She question Bella, once Pansy had retreated. "And don't tell me nothing, if looks could kill you'd be dead right now." She informed her friend.

Blaise watched as his friend entered reality once again. He raised an eyebrow and heard his words and said, "You're not giving me much to work with as in the laughing thing." he laughed softly, watching his friend. He heard him and nodded. He then said, "Hmm." He hummed thinking of all the redheads and knew that Draco knew Ginny. He could only think of one other redhead and she was a Ravenclaw. "Maybe it's Bella Smith." he told him. He looked back at him, shrugging. "I dunno dude."

Bella kept her face down as Pansy left. She sighed once she had. She then sighed hearing Skylar. Sighing again, she said, "I ran into Draco when we were on the train coming home last year and she screamed at me because it was apparently all my fault." She winced at the words and muttered, "I didn't even do anything." She sighed. She ran a hand through her curls and said, "I'll be back, I'm going to go change into my robes." She got up having her robes in a neat pile with her. Picking them up, she left the compartment to go to the ladies room to change.

Draco furrowed his brow, "Bella." He let the word play on his tongue, liking the feel to it."Ravenclaw, so I take it she's smart, but not a pureblood." He frownes, as a sigh escaped his mouth. His parents would never approve, no Malfoy has even married anything less than a pureblood, so why even bother dating one.

Skylar watched her friend dart from the compartment, shaking her head. She knew there was more of a reason behind the whole Pansy thing. It seemed out of character because Draco hated it when anyone enterfered with his fights. So the reason Pansy yelled at Bella was because she felt threated by her, but why was Draco acting funny that day? "He likes you." She said to her friend once she reenter the compartment.

Blaise nodded softly and heard him say not pureblood and said, "Ya know what man, I don't see the issue on whether you're pureblood or not. Most of the Slytherine's aren't even pureblood." He told him. "You're parents need to get over it. Date whoever the bloody hell you want." He told him shaking his head. He then watched him, and said, "I'm sorry, but you can't let a name spoil it." He said.

Bella switched into her robes, and sighed fixing her hair. Her makeup was on perfectly like she liked it. She folded her clothes up into a neat pile, and carried it back to the compartment with her. Bella sighed when she heard her friend. "That's ludicrous." She muttered shaking her head. She sat down, running a hand through her hair. "It's like saying a lion likes an antelope." She told her. "Plus, no." She looked out the window saying, "He's not nice.."

Draco shook his head, "I'm not worried about her blood statis as I am about the Dark Lord." What Blaise didn't know was since he'd risen to power agian he'd been residing at the manor. "And I know I can always tell my parents she'd a void to fill the time." He told his friend. Knowing all the ends and outs of how to get past his parents. Though if truth be told he was scared his parents wouldn't approve and he loses his mother, and his money.

Skylar rolled her eyes, "of course his not nice." She scoffed. "Look at his family and his friends." She said shaking her head. "The point of liking a bad boy is in hopes of changing him." She told her. "So give him the motavation he needs to change." She offered her advice freely.

Blaise raised an eyebrow and said, "Screw that." He told him shaking his head. He had no clue why everyone was so worked up about it. If they all died, they died. He had a bit of a bluntness him. If they died they died. "Or you could just, ya know, stand of to them and tell you them you like her for her no matter her status." He said, putting that thought out there now. He watched his friend saying, "Look dude, just don't be an idiot because of your family's proudness." he said.

Sighing, Bella shook her head. "I don't like him at all." She murmured frowning lightly now. She turned to look at Skylar instead of out the window. Upon hearing her words, Bella turned red and said, "Sky!!! I don't like him!!!!" She shook her head and said, "So what about you then?"

Draco chuckled, "well also what my parents don't know won't hurt them," he shrugged. "I mean she might not even be the girl." He told his friend. "But not harm in trying, and getting to the bridge when it's time." He informed him, it was almost as if her was talking himself into it as well.

"Do I like Draco?" Skylar laughed out, she threw her head back and laughed loudly, "no I don't like him." She told her friend. "And if I did, he's your's." She teased her friend, still chuckling at the idioticy of her liking Draco.

Blaise shrugged and said, "They probably don't even know you're not such an asshole when you aren't being them." He said, smiling. He shrugged and said, "Ya never know." He chuckled hearing his words and said, "Okay okay." He smiled.

Bella rolled her eyes and said, "No, I don't mean him. I mean anyone." She said, sighing softly at her friends laughter. Hearing her tease her, she rolled her eyes, popping her neck gently. She leaned back in her seat, and then pulled her feet up and laid down watching her friend.

Draco nodded, "you know I didn't expect us to be alone." He said looking out the window, the trian was infact tearing down the track. He wondered where Crabe and Goyle was, but then he really didn't care.
