I checked the list and this wasn't something that had been asked for. Recently I realized that while notifications are sent out if a sequel is created for a story, other than contacting people you know are fans of that story, there's not really a way to let people know about a prequel.
I know it's not usually the order people write in, but I'm not the only one that has written a story/short story and then decided to write a prequel to that story. After all, we all know silent readers are part of the territory, and when it comes to sequels, those people can still be reached through the notification system. Prequels, however, are a whole other game, so maybe if we could have a way to assign something as a 'prequel' to something so that it sends out a notification?
