I got out of the car as Juice got off his bike. He watched as I got Bailey out of the car. She was half-asleep, making it clear that she didn't want to be bothered. "Oh, she's sleepy," I said, holding her in my arms. "Let's go put her to bed."
Juice opened the door and led me into Bailey's room. Her room was decorated with parrots. This was just a part of the decoration I had changed in his house. I had hidden his magazines and made the place look a little more like I lived here. I was started to get curious about what he had to say about it. I set Bailey down in her crib, letting her go to sleep.

I picked Abel up, glad that I was finally home. A part of me was expecting me to wake up and still be in jail. I walked in the house with Abel in my arms. He yawned as I carried him to his room. He climbed under the covers and yawned.
"Go to sleep, little man," I told him as I heard Abby come into the room. I turned to see her leaning on the doorway.
