The Fairytale Got Twisted. [Closed]

Holly walked into the office and went into the meeting room. She was getting assigned to a new target and she was ready to get it over with. She took a sip of her coffee as she sat down then looked at the boss. Holly leaned back against her seat as she listened then looked over the files on the guy. Sadly she didn't have any pictures because he was an assassin too. Obviously he was good at hiding, though she was not afraid that she wouldn't be able to get rid of him.

Hands shoved into the depths of his pockets, Nick moved silently through the building. Today was a new day for his company to test his skill and cunning. They never halted to see what could cause him to slip up, just giving him more and more assignments as he went on. Nicholas didn't mind, though. He loved challenges. And this challenge seemed to be perfect for him. He had been given a file on an opposing assassin from another company that threatened the work of his own.

The woman he was after was indeed a worthy opponent, a quick and efficient killer. If the lady had any pictures of her, she did a damn good job at keeping them secret. Nic had been told that the suspicion was she had red hair and was about 5'2 in height. He doubted it, though, knowing that redheads were the worst assassins due to their hair being like a spotlight to the world. No, this woman was most certainly not a red head.

Throwing the files he had been given into the fire at the building, he left, going over the information in his mind.

Holly picked up the plane tickets that her boss had given her, "Looks like im going back to the beach." She said, smirking as she looked at the tickets. Holly loved being near the beach. She stood up then grabbed her bags that were already packed for her. She was looking forward to killing this guy early and relaxing for the rest of the time. Holly boarded her plane after a bit then leaned back against her seat, looking at her book in her hands. She tried to look like a girl simply meeting her friends for a spring break. Her outfit looked like something she usually wore when she was off work. Holly sighed as she opened her book and continued to read. She hoped she didnt sit next to anyone on this ride. She really didn't like people, well strange people for that matter.

Sitting down next to a woman with blonde hair and an orange top matched with capris, Nic pulled out his phone to turn it off before the plane took flight. He had trained himself to be on alert at all times, but he no longer cared who was around him. To be an assassin, it was easy to understand that friends, love, and family had to be cut from your life. They proved too dangerous to have around when someone else was after you. So he regarded everyone the same way. With a silent nod to the woman beside him, he leaned back into his seat to rest before getting to his destination in California near Laguna Beach. He would need all the rest he could get before arriving and beginning his normal stake-outs.

Holly gave a small smile to the stranger next to her then looked back at her book. She turned the page and bit her bottom lip lightly as she continued to read. Holly looked up when she heard the pilot talk about the plane getting ready to take off. She rolled her eyes when the lady across the aisle freaked out when the plane took off. It was girl's like that who made the whole gender seem weak. Holly leaned back against her seat, trying to get comfortable. She looked out the window, not saying anything to the man beside her.

As he relaxed, Nic heard a flight attendant ask, "Can I get you anything to drink or eat, sir? Ma'am?" Taking a moment to consider, he asked for a mere cup of water. He couldn't remember the last time he had eaten. But water sustained him well enough, keeping the strength in him. The attendant nodded and waited for the woman's orders.

Holly looked at the flight attendant, "No thank you." She replied. Her voice was sweet and she came off as innocent, but underneath she was a trained killer. Holly leaned back against her seat again and closed her eyes for a moment. She was hating that it was going to be a long flight. She opened her eyes again when the flight attendant returned with the man's water.

"Thank you," he said, taking the glass. After the attendant had disappeared, he took a sip and held the water in his hands, wondering about his first course of action. He had already called ahead to reserve himself a room at one of the finest hotels, as well as a car rental o a sleek black impala.

Holly looked at the water bottle that was sitting in front of the man then looked back at her book. She was ready to go to the hotel and get everything together. Holly bit her bottom lip lightly as she thought about who this guy could be. It sucked that there wasn't any pictures of him. Holly wished things would be easier, but she did like a challenge.

Someone walking down the aisle and bumped into Nic, causing the glass in his hand to go flying and spilling over the woman beside him. Silently he cursed himself for not being more prepared and he turned to the woman to apologize to her.

Holly gasped slightly when the man's water split on her. "Oh my gosh." She said. She grabbed a napkin near by. She looked at the man when he went to apologize, "It's fine." She said softly. She sighed, then watched as the flight attendant came up, "Can i have a few more napkins please?" She asked. "And he's gonna need another water, hopefully i won't wear this one." She teased, smiling at him a little.

He nodded at the flight attendant and then looked back at the girl. "I really am terribly sorry. Let me make up for it." Nic reached into his pocket and pulled out a business card that read Berkshire Hathaway: Investment Industry. Nic made sure to always keep his personal life separate from his job as an assassin. So he had managed to become the CEO to one of the largest companies in America as well as the forth largest in the world.

Holly took the card from him, "And this makes up for it how?" She asked softly, smiling. Holly looked over as the flight attendant brought their stuff over. She grabbed the napkins then cleaned off herself. She sighed as she leaned back against her seat. She looked over at him, "So this your company?" She asked.

With a smirk, he said, "Yea, you could say that. If ever you need anything, just call them up and let them know Bradley gives the all clear." Bradley Hathaway was Nic's true name, but he had come to like his alter-ego even more. Taking a sip of the new glass of water, he settled back into his seat, satisfied that he had done all he could for the poor, wet woman beside him.

Holly nodded, "Sounds like a good way to make it up to me." She said. She leaned back against her seat as she listened to the people around them. She closed her eyes for a bit but opened them when she felt the plane shake from turbulence. Holly sighed as she let her fingers lace together as she tried to relax. She looked out the window then looked forward at the seat in front of her. She was hoping this target would be easy to get rid of.

Even though he was now paying close attention to his surroundings, Nic's mind was far from the plane he was on. He was looking forward to the next few days. To the challenge of his new target. It was even more exciting than the job he had done in England to rid the world of the wealthy prince. This time, he'd have to be even smarter and quicker than usual. And he was all game for it.

Holly was relieved when the plane landed, "it was nice meeting you." She said to Brandon. She walked off the plane then got her bags. She slung the bag over her shoulder as she walked then put it in the trunk of the Porsche that was waiting for her outside. She put her sunglasses on, looking over as Brandon walked out. Holly got in her car then pulled out of the airport.

The Impala he had rented was waiting for him at the airport. He had only taken one bag, having his weapons and supplies sent to him through another route. Plopping his single suitcase in the trunk, Nicholas slid behind the wheel of the car and peeled out of the driveway, thinking of the woman he had met on the plane.

Holly got to her hotel and set her things down. She rigged her room up so that nobody could get in. She pulled her guns out after she closed her curtains. She looked at her guns then went to take a shower.
