Mia shrugged at Jeremy's question, "Not a place I felt I needed to visit again." She replied and then laughed at his words, "Well you're human. It's good to see there's at least one of you in Mystic Falls." She joked but there was a little truth behind it. She looked over at Lily when she heard what Lily said to Damon. Mia grabbed Lily's sleeve, "They don't know that." She whispered to Lily.

Damon looked at Lily blankly when she said Katherine wasn't in the tomb, "Of course she's in the tomb. Where else would she be?" Damon asked and saw as Amelia whispered something to Lily. Damon was confused. Katherine had to be in the tomb there was no other logical place she could be. She had to be. Damon could feel it.

Jeremy nodded at the mention of it. "Yeah, well, there are a lot of humans in Mystic Falls," he said honestly. Though he didn't know many of them personally. How he ended up wrapped up in all this supernatural stuff, he didn't quite understand. With one glance to his sister, though, he realized that he had always been involved in this supernatural stuff, because Elena was the doppelganger. They just hadn't been aware of it until recently. Seeing that Amelia was whispering something to her friend, though, he fell silent.

Lily blinked several times in both surprise and confusion. She wanted to be amused; she wanted to be able to laugh at the fact that Damon didn't know that Katherine wasn't in the tomb, that he believed Katherine would be there waiting for him. But she couldn't bring herself to do that, because it was honestly heartbreaking to know that the man she felt so deeply for didn't know that the woman he loved wasn't waiting for him at all. Instead of saying anything, she turned to Amelia and offered a smile. "You know, I could really go for that drink now," she decided.

Mia nodded at Lily's words, "We'll be right back." She said to the table before she pulled her best friend away to the bar. Mia compelled the bar tender to give her and Lily their drinks for free before she turned to her best friend, "It's sad. I honestly feel bad for him." Mia stated as she looked over at Damon before at Lily, "She was cruel but I didn't think she could be this cruel and not tell him." Mia added.

Damon was confused when Lily and Mia walked away from the table. But Damon didn't try to think twice about it before he turned towards the table, "So now you've met our exes." Damon said to Elena and Jeremy, trying to lighten the awkwardness a little bit. Damon looked at Jeremy, "You and Mia seemed to have hit it off. You seemed to have a lot to talk about." Damon said turning the attention towards the younger Gilbert.

Lily sighed quietly as she stared at her drink, swirling it around in the glass before she nodded in agreement. "I know. And he's not even aware that she's not even down there. You would think that if she really cared at all, she would have come here and taken him along with her," she murmured quietly before taking a drink of the alcoholic beverage and frowning. "I really don't want to feel bad for him, considering everything. But I can't help but pity him for believing that she loves him and that she's just down there, rotting away like the others."

Jeremy blinked several times when he heard Damon speaking to him and he turned his attention to the man, furrowing his brows before he eventually shrugged. "She's just interesting," he said simply before leaning back in his seat. "I don't see how two girls like them could have ended up with you two, though. I feel bad for them - especially Mia, since she's probably been waiting to see Stefan for ages, only to spot him with my sister." At hearing this, Stefan couldn't help but cringe uncomfortably because he knew Jeremy was probably right, but he tried not to think about it.

Mia shook her head, "He's still waiting for her while his brother just had to go out and get himself her twin. You realize that must have been hell on the both of them right? To see her, think she's Katherine and then have her tell them she has no idea who they are." Mia said quietly before taking a sip of her drink. She still couldn't help but be envious of Elena but she wouldn't do anything to harm that relationship. Mia knew what it was like to be on the receiving end of that and it wasn't fun.

Damon raised his eyebrows at Jeremy's words, "Uh they were with us because we were the heartthrobs of the town my dear baby Gilbert. I'm sure that people thought they were lucky. I won't lie. They went through hell because of us." Damon said and finished off his drink, the words leaving a sour taste in his mouth.

Lily made a face at the mention of it. "It's ridiculous," she muttered bluntly, shaking her head slightly in disapproval. "Imagine what it would be like if Katherine actually were in the tomb and Damon got her out. They'd confuse the two for each other and you wouldn't be able to know whether to be amused or feel bad for them or feel miserable for ourselves because they would get to be happy and we'd just keep doing the same routine that we usually do - stick around a place for a while, then leave and depend on only each other."

Damon's words immediately caught Jeremy's attention and he frowned, leaning forward, obvious curiosity making its way to his features. "What do you mean? What did you do to put them through hell?" he asked bluntly. Honestly, he could see Damon putting anybody through hell. It was a little harder to believe that Stefan would do something like that on purpose, though.

Mia nodded before she finished off her drink and then sat down on the bar stool, looking over at Lily, "I wouldn't stick around for that. I would be out of town in a heartbeat. Wouldn't say goodbye to anyone." Mia said honestly before she sighed and looked at Stefan, "I wouldn't have a reason to stay." She added and frowned.

Damon looked over at Jeremy, "Well everything that happened with Katherine happened while we were engaged to them." Damon explained and watched as Stefan pinched the bridge of his nose, obviously remembering everything that happened. Damon did feel a little bad for the girls but he was so in love with Katherine at the time he didn't even care.

Lily nodded slightly in agreement to her friend before she let out a sigh and leaned against the counter of the bar, a frown tugging at her features. "It's not like we have a reason to stay right now," she murmured honestly, knowing now that Damon was still tied up with Katherine. And Stefan was with Elena, apparently. "We never really have a reason to stay anywhere, huh?"

Jeremy arched an eyebrow when he heard the news and scowled slightly. "You two are idiots, then," he said bluntly, ignoring the annoyed look that Stefan gave him, though Stefan wasn't denying it. "I can only imagine how much hell they got because of you two." Now, Jeremy wasn't the best person, he knew that; but he would never do something like that. What the Salvatores did was cruel.

Mia nodded, "Nothing is the same as it used to be. Life was so much simpler when you stay in a place for long amounts of time. " Mia said with a sigh. She looked over at Lily before looking at the table, "Do you think they are different than the Gilbert that we had?" Mia asked. Mia wouldn't admit it aloud but she found Jeremy interesting and he wasn't very hard to look at either which was a plus.

Damon looked at Jeremy with an annoyed look before he signed and looked at Lily and Mia at the bar. He ran a hand through his hair and sighed. Damon knew what he and Stefan did was wrong but Damon didn't think much of our until the two walked through the door.

Lily nodded in agreement to her friend before she stared down at her now empty glass, a frown forming on her features. "I hope they're nothing like Jonathan," she said honestly. "I don't want to deal with any more traitors. Honestly, I think we've had enough of those to last us a vampire lifetime."

Jeremy ignored the look Damon gave him and glanced over at the girls in time to notice Mia looking at their table. He offered a small smile, though he was a little curious as to if the girls were going to stick around and join them at the booth or if they would head for the hills. He couldn't say he would blame them if they chose the latter, considering what he had just found out.

Mia nodded in reply. "They don't seem like they are like Jonathan. But that could be they don't know what Jonathan did." She said. Mia smiled slightly when Jeremy looked overt and smiled at her, "I don't know if I want to leave quickly or so soon right now. Who knows maybe there is something here for the both of us. Maybe it will be funny to see Damon's reaction to Katherine not being in the tomb."

Damon looked over at Stefan, "Whst are we going to do about them being here?" He asked. He watched as Stefan shrugged and looked over at Elena then back at his brother, "We can't do much. If they want to be here they have a right to be." Stefan said. Damon groaned. It was weird with them being here. It was crazy to know they were alive still.

(Sorry this took so long! I was sick at first, then my computer didn't want to load Mibba. Dx)

Lily chewed on her lip at the mention of it, though she followed her friend's line of sight and blinked. "Oh, so you already have an interest in the Gilbert boy?" she asked her friend, teasingly nudging her before sighing. "Yeah, maybe you're right. There might be something here for both of us." Though, Lily, personally, was doubtful that there was anything there for her. For her friend? Definitely. Because Jeremy was clearly interested in Mia, which Lily found kind of adorable.

Jeremy frowned as he listened to the two and rolled his eyes slightly. "What is wrong with you two?" he asked bluntly. "You just blatantly admitted to making their lives hell and you're already eager to get them away from Mystic Falls?" Or, at least, Damon was. Stefan just seemed unnerved by everything, so he was probably stuck in the middle of being okay with them being there and wanting them so far away from Mystic Falls that they forgot how to get there. It was rather ridiculous, to him.

Mia shooked her head and looked at Lily, "I'm not interested in the Gilbert. He just would be a good distraction while Stefan lives out his little fantasy with Elena." Mia stated and glanced at Stefan before looking back at Jeremy. She finished her drink before she set the glass on the bar and looked at Lily once more.

Damon looked at Jeremy with a glare. He was about sick of the Gilbert's attitude, "You try having an ex fiance now living in the same area as you. It's a littke weird." Damon said still glaring at Jeremy. He looked over at the girls before he turned his head back to the table.

Mia shooked her head and looked at Lily, "I'm not interested in the Gilbert. He just would be a good distraction while Stefan lives out his little fantasy with Elena." Mia stated and glanced at Stefan before looking back at Jeremy. She finished her drink before she set the glass on the bar and looked at Lily once more.

Damon looked at Jeremy with a glare. He was about sick of the Gilbert's attitude, "You try having an ex fiance now living in the same area as you. It's a littke weird." Damon said still glaring at Jeremy. He looked over at the girls before he turned his head back to the table.

(Ohmygosh, I'm sorry I just disappeared again. Dx I don't even have a proper excuse this time, except that the past few days, my wi-fi's been out due to an outage - though that doesn't really excuse the days before that.)

Lily nodded in understanding before she let out a sigh. "Let them do as they please. We've lived without them for over a century; we can handle this," she said quietly, though her chest ached at the thought. Still, she tried to ignore it, figuring there was no point in thinking about it.

"Whose fault is that?" Jeremy asked simply, finding that the question probably answered itself. That thought aside, he figured there wasn't much point in lingering on the subject and he glanced over at the girls for a moment before standing. "Well, I guess somebody ought to show them around, huh?" he asked, clearly suggesting himself.

Mia nodded but sighed as her eyes fixed on Stefan. She wasn't pleased at the thought of letting him stay with Elena. She knew Elena would bring him nothing but trouble. Just like Katherine. Of course Mia wasn't going to say that aloud. She didn't want to start things especially since she kind of wanted to see how exactly this was going to play out and if they were even going to stay long.

Damon raised his eyebrows at Jeremy's words, "And you expect that to be you?" Damon said and almost laughed, "Is this because of your fascination with Mia?" Damon asked and smirked. It was pretty easy to tell the younger Gilbert was smitten with Mia. Damon stood, "Let me escort you over there. I want to see how this is going to turn out." He said. Stefan spoke up, "You realize they don't need to be shown around, they used to live here." He said. "Stefan things change. Let Jeremy try and show them around."

(Oh, I didn't know that you weren't able to walk. D:)

Lily sighed quietly before pinching the bridge of her nose. Eventually, she decided on another drink, having compelled the bartender to serve it without a problem before she took a sip of it. "What do you say we do some sight-seeing?" she asked, though it wasn't long before she caught sight of Jeremy walking over, causing her to blink slowly. Admittedly, she was curious, so she fell silent.

Jeremy rolled his eyes in response to Stefan. "I'm sure there's a lot that's here now that wasn't there then," he said simply, though he ignored Damon. Deciding that he didn't need an 'escort,' he went ahead to make his way over to the girls at the bar himself, offering a small lopsided smile. "So, when was the last time you two were here again? I was kind of hoping that you'd let me show you around."

Mia smiled widely at Lily's words before she noticed Jeremy walking over to them. She raised her eyebrows at his question, "I would be perfectly okay with that. But it's up to Lily." Mia said before she looked over at her best friend, practically begging her with her eyes to accept the request. Mia noticed Damon with Jeremy and she bit her tongue at the words she wanted to spit at Damon.

Damon walked over with Jeremy to the girls and he held back his laughter at the kid's words. He raised his eyebrows at Mia's response before he basically rolled his eyes at the fact that when Mia looked at Lily, she was begging her friend to let them go with her eyes. It was quite clear how Mia thought of Jeremy.

Lily was surprised to hear the offer from Jeremy and even more surprised that Mia was wanting her to agree. After a moment, she lifted her shoulders in a shrug. "Alright, sure," she decided with a subtle nod, offering a smile towards her friend. "It might be a little fun, after all." Plus, it would be better than being stuck in there, where she was certain tension would rise easily.

Jeremy couldn't help but be relieved when Mia had agreed to it, since he was more so wanting to show her around rather than her friend. Since Mia wanted Lily's approval as well, though, he felt a bit relieved that Lily had agreed, too. "Alright, let's go, then," he decided before stepping out of the way so that the girls could get up. "Are you two alright with walking? It's a small town, so we can walk pretty much anywhere."

Mia smiled widely when Lily agreed to let Jeremy show them around. She hopped off the bar stool before she looked at Damon, "Are you coming?" She asked raising an eyebrow. She didn't really care if he came or not because she was more focused on Jeremy rather than Damon but she didn't want Lily to feel left out.

Damon was quite shocked when Lily agreed before he focused on Mia. He shrugged, "I mean if you guys are okay with me coming. I wouldn't want Lily to be the third wheel with you two or anything." Damon said looking between Mia and Jeremy with a slight smirk on his face, "I don't want to intrude." He added.
