Aiden nodded his head, and then remembering she couldn't see him, spoke. "I totally agree, I never feel like my writing is fully done no matter how many edits I put into it," he said honestly, doodling in a notebook with his free hand. He smiled when she mentioned she was free tomorrow. "I know that coffee shop, that sounds great. Would 12 o'clock work for you?" he asked, an ecstatic grin spread across his face. He made a mental note to find his chill before meeting with her the next day. "Dinner's ready!" he heard his mother yell up the stairs. He suppressed a groan, usually it took her longer than this to prepare dinner. "Be right down!" he yelled, covering the speaker of the phone with his hand. "I need to go down for dinner, but I can't wait till tomorrow." And he really meant it.

Scarlet giggled at his modesty. She wasn't unaware of how attractive she was, she had to be to be working here. But it was clear to her that Greyson would be out of her league, on any normal day, in any normal place. With her hand not holding the cigarette she took one of his hands in hers, rubbing her thumb along the back of it. "Well thank you," she said with a smirk, taking a long drag. "So tell me something about yourself. If you won't tell me your whole story, at least give me something," she whispered into his ear, before pulling away and flashing him her full smile. The smile that she knew people couldn't resist.

Ella allowed a smile to spread across her lips, nodding her head. "Yes, that's what I always say," She agreed, giving a light laugh. Glancing down at her planner, she ran her hand across the page to the twelve time slot and noted that she had a doctor's appointment, but this was an opportunity that she could not afford to lose. "Twelve sounds great. I'll meet you there then," She concluded, leaning back her chair with satisfaction. Hearing a female voice in the background, she giggled,"Go ahead. I'll see you tomorrow, Aiden." Despite holding onto as long as she could, Ella slowly hit the 'end call' button and placed her cell phone down onto the table. This was the first time in a long while that she felt giddy about something as if she were a teenage girl again. "God, it's been years," She muttered to herself, unable to contain her excitement.

Greyson glanced down at their hands and relaxed against her soothing touch. "Well, I mean it's obvious," He nervously chuckled, casting his gaze downward. Feeling her breath brush against his ear, he shivered and bit his lip lightly. "Um, I work at the business down the street in marketing," He admitted, thinking that it was harmless information. Of course, he would never admit that he had a wife back home or that their marriage was in shambles. They were basically coexisting. "What about you? Tell me something," He asked in return, wanting to know more about her.
