"I bit her last night," Matt said. "She attacked me so I bit her. When wolves bite vampires, it kills them." He sighed and crossed his arms over his chest. "There's nothing I can do but help her be comfortable. But I'm sure she'd much rather die with a stick up her ass."

Ariel hissed at Matt, feeling to weak to do anything but that. "Both of you stop it," Anya screamed. "Ariel stop being stubborn and Matt make her comfortable," she ordered. The strawberry blonde wanted to argue with Anya but she knew better the little girl could be extreme stubborn when she wanted to be.

Matt sighed and he pulled Ariel up. "If you puke on me, I swear," he muttered, dragging her to the living room while trying to keep his towel up at the same time.

Ariel smirked as she began to dry heave, trying to make herself puke on Matt. She wanted to make him regret doing this to her. Anya caught on to what Ariel was doing and imitated one of her hisses which made the vampire stop instantly. "Ariel be nice," Anya ordered. "After you get Mermaid settled can you go put clothes on Matt you have what daddy calls morning wood." Ariel made a face of disgust as she saw a fairly large tent in the beach towel around his waist. "Fucking pervert," she hissed.

"Oh please," Matt scoffed. "It's not from you. I get it every morning. If anything, thinking about you will probably make it shrink back inside my body."

"I can always speed up the process and rip it off," Ariel hissed. Anya rolled her eyes as Matt put Ariel on the couch. "Matt go get dressed and come back when you're done," the eight year old ordered. Ariel watched Matt walk off, feeling her body tremble from her fever. "This feels so weird kiddo," she admitted. "I feel like my body is on fire. I haven't felt like this since I was human."

Matt walked into his house and sighed as he walked upstairs to get dressed and fix his problem. He came back down and went to Ariel's house, walking inside. "Oh, by the way, you still owe me a toaster," he said.

"I'm dying and you're focused on me buying you new toaster," Ariel snapped. "Fuck you mutt!" Anya covered Ariel's hand with her mouth. "Dying doesn't give you an excuse to be a potty mouth," she stated.

Matt smirked. "Yeah, potty mouth," he said, sitting down on her couch.

Anya sighed dramatically. "You two are acting more like kids than me and I'm eight," she exclaimed. "What's your excuse!"

"She smells like death!" Matt exclaimed.

Anya rolled her eyes. "She is dying so that's why she smells like that." Ariel groaned as she started coughing up black ooze. "This isn't right," Ariel mumbled. "Adam didn't die like this." She struggled to sit up more, crying out in pain as she felt a sharp pain in her chest. "What did you do to me," she hissed at Matt.

"I didn't do anything!" Matt hissed back at her. "And no, Anya, she's a vampire, she always smells like death, because that's what she is. She's already dead. Hey, maybe you'll come back as a zombie. It'll be ten times easier to have a conversation with you."

"We met Jimmy and he said she smelt good like daisies," Anya argued. "She barely even drinks blood and most of it is from bags. It's not fair," the eight year old began to sob. Ariel shut her eyes tightly, feeling absolutely heartbroken that her dying was effecting the brunette this way. She opened her eyes, feeling a few tears of blood fall down her face as she pulled Anya into her lap and simply held her. "Everything will be okay," she promised. "You'll have Matt and his pack now." Anya shook her head. "If its not you I don't want it," she sniffled.

Matt sighed, closing his eyes and resting his head back on the couch. Couldn't she just die already? This was taking way too long.

Ariel hugged Anya as she felt her body begin to convulse and blood slid down her nose in floods. The strawberry blonde's arms fell limp against Anya and her eyes fluttered shut. Anya started to sob even harder, looking at Matt desperate for help when Ariel's body jolted and she began gasping for air. Anya moved off of Ariel as all the blood vessels in the vampire's body began to glow and her normally undead pale skin changed to fair skin with a pink undertone. The vampire's mouth opened and she let out a loud high pitched scream much like she had the night she felt like Anya was in danger before her body finally collapsed back on the couch, her chest rising as falling as she stayed unconscious.

Matt covered his ears and fell to his knees at the blood-curdling scream, feeling like his brain was going to explode. "Jesus!" he hissed, pulling himself up and looking at Ariel. "What the hell?" He walked over and slapped her cheek. "Wake up."

Ariel's eyes fluttered open as she looked at Matt and then Anya. The first thing she noticed was that she was breathing and she started to cry but they weren't blood tears they were regular tears. She ran her hands over her face, feeling warmth at the tips of her fingers. "How is this happening," she questioned. "I should be dead not human." Anya grinned. "Matt's bite must have turned you human just like Belle's kiss turned the beast human," she exclaimed. "Matt is your Belle!"

"Oh god," Matt muttered. "Yay, you're alive. Party. Whoop. I'm leaving."

"If you want me to buy you a new toaster you're waiting until I get changed and taking me and Anya out for food," Ariel replied. Anya grinned. "Please Matt," she begged. "There's so much food Mermaid needs to try."
