When someone says "Well, that's just my opinion." I want to scream! Just because something is your opinion doesn't mean that it's right or even that you are entitled to have it. No, I'm sorry, but you are not always entitled to your opinion.

This video is exactly how I feel. It's about global climate change and that 3% of scientists that disagree.

Bias and omission. I understand that someone may want to sway another to view their own opinion, but you have to accept that throwing a bunch of biased facts at someone without even acknowledging that there is another side who maybe have other facts that should be taken into consideration, I'm going to get pretty pissed very quickly. I think it's interesting to point out the facts from both sides of a debate and then let people decide where they go from there. Similarly, I don't like it when people omit facts that make their opinion look bad. Yes, you're going to have good points but if you're trying to sway someone you need to acknowledge the bad points too. Things like that in discussion really grate on my nerves.

Going off Katie's post, also "It's my opinion so it can't be wrong." Oh sure it can. If your opinion is denying or ignoring proven fact, it's wrong.

I also hate skipping rebuttals. When a person blatantly ignores a valid point in someone's post because they can't think of a response, especially when that point is the focal point of the posters comment. Like nearly witches stated, you shouldn't just ignore information or a comment because you can't find a way to disprove it.
