"Excuse you! Avocados are amazing! Like, on eggs and stuff. They're delicious," Emma argued, nudging her shoulder against him as though she'd known him for years. She paused before relaxing, figuring that it wasn't that big of a deal. "That sounds good to me," she said, turning down the aisle. "So what are you majoring in?" She asked, looking over the shelf full of cereal.
Rude. ;) Sebastian smirked faintly, figuring that she was only teasing. He set his phone down on the chair of his arm, going to start typing when he noticed that it went off again. He read the text, letting out a low laugh when he saw what it said. What class is it? He settled back into his seat, actually starting to type as he read over the rest of the assignment.

"Biochem and biotech," Chris responded, standing up to grab a pack of noodles from a taller shelf. "I know, I don't look like the biochemistry type, but." He'd been good at that kinda crap in highschool, so he went and did it when he was in university. He'd taken a couple years off in between, worked as a carpenter, but he figured it was finally time to go back to school to get a well paying job.
Women's studies. The stuff is interesting, the prof just sucks. It was actually very disappointing that this class was her least favourite, she was looking forward to it. The professor didn't really know how to plan out a lecture, though, so everything was all over the place and not as fun and interesting as Parker knew that this course could, and should, be.

"Hey, come on. I hardly look like the journalism type, but here I am. That's really cool," she said, grinning up at him. "So are you specializing in anything, or just doing a general degree?" She asked, snatching a thing of spaghetti sauce from the shelf and putting it into the cart. She was mildly surprised at his major, but she liked that. Biochem was hard as fuck, and she was beyond impressed.
Aw ma, I heard that prof is terrible. Sebastian hadn't really heard much about this course, but a couple of his friends had taken it and all they talked about was how awful the professor was. He was glad that he hadn't had to take it, although at one point he had been tempted, just to see how bad the professor really was.

"Just gen," Chris said. "Though it is only my second year, so I might end up specializing. I am just waiting to see where the wind takes me and my dumb ass." He gave a shrug, grabbing a couple things off the shelf at the end of the aisle before turning and heading down the next one. "Journalism, eh? That's pretty sick. You could be like Clark Kent. Without the powers. Unless you got powers, then you're just like Clark Kent."
You heard right. I'm dyin' here. Parker spend most of the class nearly falling asleep as she played solitare on her computer. She was thankful when the prof dismissed the class and she was done for the day. She headed towards the bus stop, her backpack over one shoulder and her phone in her hand, waiting for the 'School Shuttle' to arrive and take the kids back to the residence. It wasn't that far away, but Parker didn't have the energy to walk.

"Your dumb ass? I'm pretty sure that you have to be smart to be majoring in biochem. Don't sell yourself short. I bet there's a lot going on in that brain of yours," Emma said, swiping another cookie from the pack. She gave a shrug of her shoulders as she nibbled at the edges. "Nah, I'd say that I'm more of a kick ass Lois Lane type, you know?"
So skip next time and hang out with me. They hadn't even truly hung out properly and there he was, already inviting her out for another time. Sebastian knew that he might be jumping the gun, but he really didn't care. He put the rest of his focus on writing his paper, trying to hammer out most of it before his attention began to drift. After awhile he picked up his phone, taking a short break. Have you taken English Lit 204 yet? Because I'm dying in this class.

"You'll be Lois Lane, I'll end up like Bruce Banner or someone else who messed up. Maybe I'll be a Ninja Turtle?" Chris chuckled, shrugging. Those options weren't in the same 'verse as Lois Lane, but really, who was going to care about that. "Do you have class today?" Chris asked, looking at his watch. He had kind of forgotten that he did. He still had a solid two hours before it started, but he needed to remember he had it.
Maybe next time I will. And no, I haven't. That's next year. Parker walked onto the bus and took a seat beside some guy with huge headphones on and the bus was off towards the dorms. When she got off, she walked right into her wing and right into her room, which, true to what she had said before, stunk of weed. She sighed and walked into her bedroom, dropping her stuff on the floor and flopping onto the bed.

"Yeah, but the Hulk isn't really a mistake. Sure, Bruce Banner didn't mean to turn into a giant green rage monster, but he's still considered a superhero. And that's not that bad," Emma replied, smiling up at him. She took a bite of the cookie, grabbing a container of nutella and one of peanut butter from the shelf. "I do, actually. In a couple of hours, though, so it's no real rush."
I'm more fun than class would ever be. And you're no help, Parker. Sebastian sent the message, grinning a little before he turned back to his computer. He finished typing up the paper, figuring that it wold be what it would be. That, and he didn't feel like editing anymore. He packed up his stuff and started back towards his dorm room, hoping that his roommate wouldn't be in there.

"Yeah, me too," Chris said as they walked. He put a few more things from that aisle into the buggy, and rounded the corner again. That aisle didn't really have much, just cleaners and shit, so they moved onto the next one pretty quickly. "What class do you have? I've got a computer one. It was an elective, I needed it to fill a slot."
Hey, I said next time, ya boob. Parker said, laughing to herself once she sent it. Her room mate popped her head into her room, raising her eyebrow. "Why are you laughing? Gone loopy, finally?" she asked, smirking at Parker. Parker shook her head in reply. "Just texting some guy I met today." Parker's room mate wiggled her eyebrows and retreated back to her room. "Use a condom!" "You're a pervert."

Emma liked grocery shopping with Chris. It didn't seem so bad, going through the aisles with him. Where before she would have been bored beyond belief, he actually made it interesting. "Broadcast Journalism. It's one of the classes that I have to take for my major, and it's already kicking my ass."
I've never been called a boob before. Wow. Sebastian let out a low laugh at that. He'd been called a lot of things over the years (quite a few negative names from quite a few girls), but he'd never been called a boob. Not ever. He made it back to his room fairly fast, since it wasn't too far. He stepped in, making a face at the strong stench of weed.

"I'm sure you'll get into the swing of it once the semester starts rolling. Just gotta stay positive." It was the start of the year, after all. He was sure she'd get into it properly once it started going. Not that he knew her habits or anything, but she didn't really seem like the drown in school work and cry a lot because she was stressed and failing kinda girl. She did seem much more like the bad ass Lois Lane kinda type.
First time for everything. It's what I'm here for ;) Parker hadn't really meant for that text to seem suggestive, but after she clicked send, she realize it totally sounded naughty. She felt herself blush as she dropped her phone, picking up the TV remote instead and flicking on her tv. The dorms got a basic cable package, thirty or so channels, but right now she needed to pretend that text never happened.

Emma gave a shrug of her shoulders. "I'm sure that you're right. Midterms and finals are going to be a pain in the ass, though," she said, chuckling quietly. The previous year she'd procrastinated a lot, and that had resulted in tears and alcohol and stress. This year she was adamant to change that. "We should grab some beer, too. The others might like that."
Are you flirting with me pre date, Parker? Because if so, you're stealing my idea. ;) Sebastian was getting the vibe that she might be flirting with him, and there was no way that he couldn't flirt back. Flirting was practically in his DNA. When he was younger, his parents were always having to drag him away from the girls since he kept trying to kiss them.

"There's a booze store next door," Chris said. "Well, technically it's in the next plaza thing over, but it's really close." He was a bit of a frequenter of the Liquidation Liquor next door. It sounded like a cheep ass place, and the inside really fit the title, but the booze was just as good there as it was anywhere else. And that place had everything
Sucks to suck, doesn't it? Parker stood up and walked into the little kitchen area of her dorm, opening the cupboard. There wasn't much to eat, but she grabbed a single serve mac and cheese and made it up for herself. As it sat in the microwave, she sat on a kitchen char, leaning her head against the wall. She felt a little pathetic, but she absolutely couldn't wait for the next day.

"That sounds perfect. I'm really craving some cheap beer right now," Emma said, grinning up at him. She didn't drink that often anymore, but occasionally she just wanted a beer or some wine or something. And she never tried to deny herself those little pleasures. "Do you care what kind we get? Because I generally just go for whatever's cheapest."
Rude. Weren't you ever taught about manners? Sebastian liked this. Never had he established such a relaxed conversation this fast with a girl that he'd literally just met. And not only that, but it was interesting too. Or rather, she was interesting. All he knew was that he really wanted her to reply as soon as possible. He liked texting her. He couldn't remember the last time that he'd been this happy over mere texts.

"I am one hundred percent the same," Chris said with a grin. He wasn't an expensive alcohol drinker, whatever was the cheapest was what he was going to buy. After all, it all tasted like ass, right? Why would you want to pay 900 dollars for a bottle of shitty tasting liquid? Didn't make sense to him. "So we can hit that place up when we leave here. If everyone else in the house has a problem with our cheep beer preferences, then they can screw off."
Nope, I'm a bad girl. Parker wasn't really that much of a bad girl, she was just being a bit of a flirt. She yawned as she stretched out in the chair, waiting for her microwaveable food to ding so she could eat it, then probably take a nap or something. She wasn't really tired, but if she slept, the next day would get there faster.

"That's perfect, then," Emma said, grinning. She could never justify spending a shit load of money on beer or any other alcohol. The cheap stuff got her just as drunk as the expensive stuff, and it's not like anyone drank for the taste anyway. "We could buy the cheap stuff and if they buy the expensive stuff, we can just call it sharing and grab one for ourselves occasionally," she suggested, laughing softly.
I bet you are. Good girls don't agree to going on a date with the guy that she just met. Sebastian felt like he was playing with fire a little. Referring to her as a bad girl just sounded like blatant flirting, the kind that could just lead to explicit texts and stuff that most people didn't do when they'd just met someone. But he figured that he could tone it down a little. The last thing that he wanted to do was to freak her out or anything.

"It's only fair, right?" Chris replied. "I mean, we are paying for the groceries." He chuckled, glancing in the buggy. They didn't really need that much more. Just the produce and he was pretty sure they'd be good to head over to the grocery store. "Now this is the part I'm going to need help with," Chris said honestly as they walked towards the vegetables. "I don't know how to tell whats fresh and whats not. Some things its better if its kinda softer, other things its if its hard. How do you know? It's beyond me."
Lucky for you, huh? Parker grabbed her food from the microwave and headed back into her room. She felt like she was in some kind of stupid teen romance movie. This kinda stuff never happened to her - never. Boys didn't often come up and introduce themselves on the street, nor did they proceed to text her this quick.

[dyou wanna like skip to the next day or keep the textin stuff goin?]
