Wolves

Ricky walked next to Cheryl. "So I'm guessing you are a devil or is it demon?" he asked, making conversation. He smiled over at her. He loved her voice.

Audrey smiled at Chris. "Yeah, it is. It's just exciting that it's Halloween," she replied. She swayed towards him slightly comfortable near him.

Cheryl laughed lightly, "Devil." She smiled. "And you're?" She asked looking at his clothing smiling.

Chris nodded, "Me too. It's the best season of the year." He smiled at her. "So you're a bunny?" He asked smiling

Ricky shrugged. "I'm a rock god," he said, laughing. He did a bit of air - friar to add effect to it.

"Yeah, it is," Audrey agreed. "Yeah, I'm a bunny. It just seemed to fit me." She smiled up at him. He was a few inches taller than her. Her head barely passed his shoulders not including the ears.

Cheryl laughed lightly, "That is an awesome costume, Ricky." She smiled at him. She felt safe, and comfortable with him.

"It's cute." Chris smiled at her. "I agree it seems to suit you."

Ricky smiled. "So is yours," he complimented. It was nice being with her. He could felt more comfortable to be himself with her so quickly. He could only say it was because she was his mate.

Audrey looked up at his face. His cheeks and nose was hidden behind a mask that framed his brown eyes. They were the exact same shade of the wolf's eyes from last night. She wondered how that was possible. "Although I don't think it will scare away the unwanted beasts," she admitted, smiling at the way she worded that.

Cheryl smiled at him, "Are you new in town? I can't place that I have seen you?" She smiled at him as she took and walked with him.

Chris let a soft chuckle escape his lips, "Probably won't. But I will." Chris told her smiling.

"I live here. I just don't really shop at the main stores in town. There is a small town about ten minutes away that have good deals on everything," he half-lied. He usually just didn't get out much. He did shop there sometimes, but he usually went to the closer store in town.

"Oh, you will?" She asked, curiously. She gave him a soft smile. "So what are you supposed to be?"

Cheryl nodded her head and smiled, "I see." She said and looked at him. "Maybe sometime you'll have to show me?" She suggested.

Chris shrugged, "A masqueraded guy." He laughed softly.

Ricky nodded. "I'll show you whenever you want to go," he replied. He watched her turn into the a house near a cemetery. "This is where the party is?"

"That's kind of lame," she said, teasing him lightly. "But you look attractive, so I guess it's fine. All the girls will be all over you." She looked up at the house. There were people already here. Some of the party goers were just arriving like we were.

Cheryl nodded her head, "Yeah it's an old family home." She smiled at him.

"Yeah, I only see one girl I want." Chris grinned at her.

Ricky nodded. "Seems perfect for Halloween," he commented, nodding hos head towards the cemetery. "Should I be warned of ghosts?" He smiled at her.

Audrey looked up at him. She wondered who the girl was. Maybe he was meeting her here at the party, and he was just being nice to her since they walking together. They walked up the steps of the home and walked inside. There was already a group of people hanging around. Music was blasting from the speakers in the living room.

Cheryl laughed at Ricky, "None whats so ever, that I know of." She grinned at him.

Chris watched her and smiled to himself. He took and looked at her, "Want a drink?" He asked.

"Good," Ricky said, laughing. He walked with her. "Want me to get you a drink?" he asked.

Audrey nodded. "Yes, please," she answered. She looked around at the people. She knew most of the people either from high school and/ or college. Others she had no idea who they were.

Cheryl smiled and nodded her head, "If you don't mind?" She asked him smiling.

Chris smiled and went to get her a drink and came back to her handing it to her, "Here you are." He smiled at her.

Ricky smiled and walked off to get a drink for her. He came back with one in his hand. "Here you go, miss," he said elegantly. "So what to do first at this party?"

"Thank you," Audrey said, taking a sip. She smiled up at him, not really noticing the two girls walking towards us. She knew both of them, but really didn't like them. They were in one of her college classes and just irritated her because they were always too loud about their sexual experiences before the professor showed up. "Who's this?" the brunette asked.

Cheryl took a drink of her beer as she saw her brother coming at her, "Jesus." She muttered laughing at his costume. "Todd you look stupid." She said. He rolled his eyes going onward. Being dressed up as a cheesy gangster... She looked at Ricky and smiled, "Honestly most of the time people just drink." She smiled at her. "Do you get out much?" She asked quietly.

Chris narrowed his eyes, "Her boyfriend and date." He told them narrowing his eyes. "So leave us be." Chris pulled Audrey away and smiled at her.

Ricky shrugged his shoulders. "Not really. I mess around with my instruments a lot to do anything else. Besides I'm not a partier, " he admitted. "Is this what you do?" Ricky gave a her a lame smile, and hated the he appeared to be a little bit of a goody-two-shoes.

Audrey looked at him confused for a second because him saying that they were boyfriend and girlfriend after only meeting, but those girls wouldn't have backed off thinking he was free. Of course, they probably wouldn't back off because of some girl he was with. "So, boyfriend, do you not drink?" She asked and emphasized the word boyfriend.

Cheryl smiled at Ricky, "sounds really awesome. I only come to this party cause my great-grandma began it centuries ago. So we continue it. Other than that I am normally doing drums or art." She admitted smiling.

Chris grinned, "Sometimes, why is it any of your business?" Chris narrowed his eyes.

Ricky smiled. "That's pretty cool, keeping up with the tradition," he said. "Drums and art? That seems awesome."

Audrey shrugged her shoulders. "Just curious, really," she replied looking at him curiously. "Plus, you like the only one here not drinking."

Cheryl smiled, "Just some pass time things," She admitted.

Chris frowned looking down at Audrey, "I am so sorry for snapping at you." Chris told her and sighed a little. "That bitch got under my skin." He pointed to the girl and frowned. "I drink sometimes, not all the time. But sometimes." He smiled lightly at her.
