Ares looked at her. "We all are," he said. "He needs to get sober before we stop." He knew that he should feel more worried about him especially since he was going to be staying around the people who encourage the drugs he takes.

Kenzie held the sick cat until the vet technician called her back. She walked back glad that she had Taven here with her. The vet asked what was wrong and when did it start. Kenzie explained the symptoms and when they found him.

Holly sighed, "What are we going to do Ares?" She asked as she crossed her arms. She was really concerned that his brother would eventually die like she saw. She felt pretty bad for telling Ares about this.

Taven crossed his arms as he listened to her talk to the vet. He hoped that there was something he could do. He bit his bottom lip lightly as he looked at her. He was really concerned about what he did to her cat.

Ares looked at her. "I don't know, Holly. We need to figure out if there are more of us and if they can help us," he said looking at her. He frowned hating this. His annoyance this was flaring in him and he feared the worst.



Kenzie watched the vet nod. The vet took a needle and drew some blood. "I'm going to have to see there is anything in the blood and what it is," he told me.

Holly nodded, "Okay." She said softly. She took his hands, seeing his facial expression change. She had noticed that she affected him in two ways. He either got worse or she calmed him.

Taven looked at Kenzie as the vet walked out. "So now what?" He asked as he ran his fingers through her hair.

Ares looked at her. He found her almost calming most of the time but the energy he felt from her wasn't positive. "We will go to school soon and maybe we can find them.



Kenzie looked at him and shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know. We wait and hope for the best," she said. "I'm glad that you are here with me."

Holly nodded, "Okay that works." She said. "I'm gonna head home so i can shower and what not." She said. She hugged him, "I will text you later." She said. She waved to him and Mitch before she left the house.

Taven smiled, "I'm glad that we were able to take her here."He said as he pulled her into a hug.

Ares smiled slightly. He wished that she would stay but he didn't really knew she need to head back home soon. He turned to Mitch and grinned at him slightly. "Let's hope you can kick the addiction here," he said lightly.



Kenzie wrapped her arms around Taven. She was glad he was her to comfort her. She held herself close to him until the vet came back, and told them what was going on. "It seems to be a bad infection, and I'm going to need him to stay here so that he can get the antibiotics as quickly as he can throughout the night. He's looking like it can be handled, but it may be a slow start to getting him back to normal," he said.

Holly looked at him, "You'll be fine." She said. She walked away and went back to her house. She sighed as she got a shower. She closed her eyes, then opened them. Holly gasped when she saw the water looked like blood. She turned the water off and got out. She looked back, seeing it was gone. Holly wrapped a towel around herself then walked into her bedroom. She sighed as she looked at the bed. Holly got dressed then laid in the bed.

Taven was so relieved when he heard the vet say they could help the cat. Now he knew that he couldn't touch her cat. He rubbed the back of his neck as he looked down at Kenzie. "Well at least they can help her. " HE said.

Ares laid down and felt a sudden surge of power rush power rush through him. He wondered what was going on with him. He knew that he had been able to bring out the worst in people and caused them to fight with others or at the very least that was what he thought. He dreamed of a world of destruction and war. He had no idea what was going on, but he wanted to know. Well, it was more like he needed to know. He had to hope that there are more.

Kenzie looked at him and nodded. She was sad about her cat, and she just hoped that whatever was going on with the both of them would get better to handle whatever was happening to them. "Taven, thank you for being here with me," she said, grabbing his hand gently. She gave his hand a light squeeze. She meant what she said. In all honesty, she didn't think she could make through this without him nearby.

Holly sighed as she sat up in her bed, looking around. She was really scared that she was going to have nightmares. Holly looked at her phone then called Ares. She bit her bottom lip lightly as she waited for him to answer.

Taven smiled as he looked down at her, "No problem." He said as he kissed her cheek. He let go of her hand slowly and looked around the room. He didn't understand how he hurt her cat, but he needed to find a way to fix it. He didn't want to do that to a human.

Ares heard his phone ring which snapped him out of his thoughts. "Hello," he said into the phone once he checked the caller ID. "Is there something wrong?" He hoped that everything would be okay. He didn't like to think that she was sad or hurt. He could feel something bubble in him, but he held it back telling himself that she was okay.

Kenzie looked at him. She gave him a weak smile. "We will figure this out. We just need to stick together as much as possible and help each other out. We look to see if there are other people out there with this. I will try my best to find an answer to this," she said, trying to assure both her and him.

Holly was glad when he answered, "Yea everything is fine. I'm just...having trouble sleeping is all." She said. She didn't want to tell him about the shower incident because she knew he would worry. He was very protective of her and she knew that.

Taven nodded, 'I don't understand what is happening to us." He said as he ran his fingers through her hair. HE hated not having control over what was going on. He sighed as he looked around the room again.

Ares heard her voice. "Same here," he said, hoping she wasn't leaving anything out. He had to admit that it was easier to deal with whatever this was having her to talk to. There was just something about her that calmed her down.

Kenzie nodded in agreement. She wrapped her arms around him and hugged him gently. It was calming to have him here even though she knew that nothing about this was normal. "I'm just so happy that it is you to go through this with me and not someone else," she admitted.

Holly sighed, "I hate this." She said softly. She stared up at the ceiling. "Why can't you sleep?" She asked him as she played with a strand of her hair. "I miss you." She whispered.

Taven smiled, "I'm glad that i have you with me too." HE said as he hugged her. He knew they were just friends, but he felt a lot closer to her. Taven smiled as he rubbed her back.

"So do I. This is just terrible. And when I sleep, I have these weird dreams. Like they would be nightmares, but they make me feel good powerful, or something along those lines. I'm miss you too," Ares responded immediately. "Why can't you sleep?"

Kenzie felt his hands rubbing her back, and she blushed. She knew that this was like the first time they had a long conversation, but she could already feel like they were closer to each other than friends. Or at least on her behalf. She rested her head on his shoulder just enjoying his touch. She wished that they were like this because of some other reason besides weird 'gifts' or curses as she was starting to think of them as.
